Addressing the gathering before flagging off the awareness march against drugs, the former Chief Minister of Delhi said that the youth has a huge role to play in wiping out the menace of drugs from the state.
He said that if this curse is not wiped out then it will transform into a major evil and result in major damage to the state and its generations. Arvind Kejriwal urged the youth to say no to drugs as this menace will ruin their life and that of the family.
The National Convener of AAP said that in Punjab the previous governments had patronized drug cartels in the state and even their top leaders were involved in it. He said that for the sake of minting illegal money these greedy leaders had patronized the drug menace in the state thereby ruining our generations.
Arvind Kejriwal said that God and people of the state will never forgive these political leaders for this sin and they will be punished for this misdeed.
The former Delhi Chief Minister said that the state government has done exemplary work in the last 30 days adding that even the huge palaces built from drug money amassed by these smugglers are being destroyed.
He said that none of the drug smugglers will be spared and they will be put behind the bars adding that severest of severe action will be taken against them. Arvind Kejriwal said that security agencies are playing a laudable role by cracking down heavily on the drug peddlers by nabbing them and cutting the supply line of drugs.
The National Convener of Aam Aadmi Party further said that properties of the drug peddlers are being confiscated/ demolished to ensure that people involved in this heinous crime get exemplary punishment.
Arvind Kejriwal said that the state government has adopted a zero tolerance policy against drugs and a crusade has been launched against this menace.
Striking an emotional chord with the youth, he said that if any friend or family member of the youth is taking drugs then it should be reported to authorities for timely prevention.
The former Delhi Chief Minister said that it is imperative to check the spread of drugs amongst the youth and save our future generations. He asked the youth to take the responsibility of their respective village and locality to check the menace of drugs by calling on Whatsapp helpline number 9779100200, to inform about any movement of drug smugglers in their area.
Arvind Kejriwal asked the youth to pledge that they will not take drugs, they will not allow anyone to sell drugs and they will support the campaign against drugs.
The former Chief Minister of Delhi said that in order to treat drug victims, the government is running an OutPatient Opioid Assisted Treatment Program (OOAT) for drug de-addiction services at the OPD level.
He said that rehabilitation centres are being established across the state to rehabilitate the drug victims. Arvind Kejriwal said that in order to wean away youth from the menace of drugs, playgrounds and gyms are being opened in every village of the state.

In a recent setback for Arvind Kejriwal, the leader of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and former Chief Minister of Delhi, a court in Delhi has ordered the registration of a First Information Report (FIR) against him.
This development comes in the wake of his loss in the Delhi Assembly elections, including from his own New Delhi constituency, and amid ongoing legal challenges related to the alleged Delhi liquor policy scam, for which he is currently out on bail.
At Rouse Avenue Court, a petition was brought forward requesting legal action against Mr. Kejriwal and two other AAP leaders, Gulab Singh and Nitika Sharma, for allegedly misusing public funds on large-scale hoardings.
The court has directed the Delhi Police to file the FIR, with a compliance report due by March 18. Although a lower court had dismissed the petition earlier, the case, which dates back to 2019, has now gained traction.
The allegations are centered around claims that Mr. Kejriwal, along with former AAP MLA Singh and Dwarka councilor Sharma, expended public resources on these hoardings. Throughout AAP's decade-long governance in Delhi, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has consistently accused them of using public money for personal publicity. Last January, the Directorate of Information and Publicity demanded AAP reimburse Rs 163.62 crore, including interest, for misusing funds on political advertising.
The BJP has also argued that AAP prioritized publicity spending over actual project allocations. In one instance, they claimed Rs 80 crore was spent promoting the Business Blasters scheme, despite an allotment of only Rs 54 crore. Similarly, they alleged disproportionate publicity spends for the Desh Ke Mentor and Stubble Management schemes.
Additionally, the BJP criticized the substantial funds allocated for renovations at the Delhi chief minister&rsquo;s residence during Mr. Kejriwal&rsquo;s tenure, an expense derisively labeled "Sheeshmahal."
In defense, the AAP stated that renovations were essential for the 1942-built residence, following recommendations from the Public Works Department. However, this issue seemingly contributed to the party's electoral losses.
From holding over 60 of the 70 Assembly seats in 2019, the AAP's presence diminished to just 22 seats, while the BJP secured a commanding 48 seats, claiming power in Delhi for the first time in 26 years. In the New Delhi constituency, Parvesh Verma of the BJP defeated Mr. Kejriwal with a margin exceeding 4,000 votes.
Moreover, in January, the Home Ministry authorized the Enforcement Directorate to prosecute Mr. Kejriwal and former Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act concerning the liquor policy case. AAP, however, has consistently denied all allegations against its leaders.

The BJP on Monday requested Lt Governor VK Saxena to cancel the merger of four properties with the "Sheesh Mahal" (6, Flagstaff Road) that was used by the party as a political weapon to target AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal over corruption issues during recent Assembly polls.&nbsp;
Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdeva said that the bungalow was expanded by merging four government properties and he has written to the Lt Governor VK Saxena for cancelling the amalgamation of those properties.
He said that the new government to be formed by the party will take a call regarding future use of the bungalow and added "The next Chief Minister of Delhi will not stay in it."&nbsp;
The reconstructed bungalow was the official residence of Arvind Kejriwal as Delhi Chief Minister from 2015 till October 2024 when he vacated it after resigning from the post under fire from the BJP over corruption charges.
Newly elected BJP MLA from Rohini, Vijendra Gupta, who was Leader of Opposition in the 7th Delhi Assembly dissolved last week, said that the Chief Minister of BJP will not live in the bungalow as it was under investigation over alleged irregularities.&nbsp;
Gupta said that the land of the demerged properties and used the land for other official purposes like the construction of government quarters.&nbsp;
The BJP for more than two years, more so during the Assembly election campaign, hit hard at Kejriwal levelling allegations of corruption including irregularities in the reconstruction of the bungalow and lavish interiors, high-end domestic goods and fixtures there.&nbsp;
Kejriwal transformed the bungalow into "an ultra-luxurious 'Sheesh Mahal' by "illegally annexing" neighbouring government properties, Gupta wrote to the LG.&nbsp;
"The scope of these unauthorized alterations is particularly concerning. What was meant to be a standard official residence has been transformed into a lavish complex spanning more than 50,000 square meters," he charged in the letter.&nbsp;
He said that the merged properties included eight Type-V flats at 45 and 47 Rajpur Road, and the two government bungalows (8-A and 8-B Flag Staff Road) with the 6, Flagstaff road bungalow.&nbsp;
"I urgently request your intervention to restore these properties to their original independent status and return 6-lag Staff Road to its previous area of less than 10,000 square meters," he said.&nbsp;
Gupta also requested the LG to expedite the ongoing investigation into these alleged violations, saying swift action is crucial for ensuring accountability and restoring public trust in government institutions.

PM Modi celebrated BJP&rsquo;s victory at party headquarters in Delhi and criticized AAP&rsquo;s corruption, while calling Congress irrelevant. PM also promised good governance and probes into AAP scams.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday hailed the people of Delhi for putting an end to the "lies and deception" politics of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) by giving a clear mandate to Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Assembly elections.
He said that people have put an end to "short-cut" politics of Kejriwal and removed a "major obstacle" in the way of Delhi's development.

"Delhi's mandate also clarified that there is no place for shortcuts or lies and deception in politics. Janata ne short cut rajneeti ka short circuit kar diya (People have short-circuited the politics of shortcut)," PM Modi said while addressing a gathering at the party's headquarters after the resounding victory in assembly polls.
<h3>BJP's Return to Power</h3>
BJP has won 48 seats, while AAP has won just 22 seats against 62 in the 2020 assembly polls.
The BJP is returning to power in the national capital after 27 years, ending over 10 years of Aam Aadmi Party rule.
Several AAP leaders, including former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, ex-Deputy CM Manish Sisodia, and three-time MLA Somnath Bharti, lost from their strongholds.
<h3>Criticism of AAP's Politics</h3>
The PM slammed the AAP's politics of "protests, confrontation, and administrative uncertainty."
"Today, you Delhiites have removed a major obstacle in the way of Delhi's development," PM Modi added
. Lashing out at AAP, he said, "The real owner of Delhi is only the people of Delhi. Those who thought of being the owners of Delhi have been confronted with the truth."
<h3>PM Modi on Anna Hazare</h3>
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that Anna Hazare must have got some relief from pain following AAP's defeat in the Delhi Assembly election. He added that Hazare had been "bearing the pain of the misdeeds of these people for a long time."
Earlier in the day, Anna Hazare had criticised AAP for their alleged involvement in controversies surrounding liquor and money.
PM Modi said AAP was born out of the movement against corruption but became deeply involved in it.
"The party born out of the movement against corruption got involved in corruption. It became such a party of the country whose Chief Minister and Ministers went to jail on corruption charges. Those who used to give themselves certificates of honesty turned out to be corrupt. This was a big betrayal with Delhi," PM Modi said.

<h3>AAP's Scams and Arrogance</h3>
PM Modi further attacked AAP, stating that the liquor scam had defamed Delhi. "The scams in schools and hospitals troubled the poorest of the poor, and on top of that, their arrogance was so much that when the world was dealing with Corona, these people were building 'Sheesh Mahal'."
Earlier, Anna Hazare had said that AAP did not understand the importance of character in politics, which led to their downfall.
He remarked, "They got tangled in liquor and money - his (Arvind Kejriwal's) image was dented because of it and that's why they are getting fewer votes in the election."

PM Modi also acknowledged the people from East Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, living in Delhi, who were instrumental in BJP's victory, noting that he is an MP from Varanasi, which comes under the 'Purvanchal' region.

"These AAP-da people resorted to conspiracies every day to hide their scams. Now, the Delhi poll verdict has come. Targeting AAP leaders, including former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, PM Modi said that those who gave certificates to others are now facing allegations of corruption.
The BJP has also been taking "Sheeshmahal" jibes at Kejriwal. In his speech, PM Modi thanked the people of Delhi for their support and reiterated their relief at making the national capital "AAP-da free."
<h3>BJP's Future Commitments</h3>
Meanwhile, BJP leader Parvesh Verma said that the Bharatiya Janata Party will work to fulfill its commitments to the people of Delhi, with setting up a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to probe corruption under the Aam Aadmi Party government among its top priorities.

"At one point in time, the law and order problem remained in Uttar Pradesh. The major challenge was for women. Dimaagi bukhaar (encephalitis) wreaked havoc. However, we worked with determination to resolve it," PM Modi said.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) secured a historic victory in the Delhi Assembly elections on Saturday, reclaiming power in the national capital after 27 years.
The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) faced a major defeat, with several key leaders, including former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, losing in their strongholds.
This win further strengthens the BJP&rsquo;s hold on national politics, following its recent electoral successes in Maharashtra and Haryana.
The Congress, which had hoped for a revival in Delhi, failed to secure a single seat once again, marking its third consecutive zero tally in the assembly elections. The party had previously ruled Delhi for 15 years, from 1998 to 2013.
BJP won 48 out of 70 seats, while AAP secured 22 seats.

Among the prominent AAP leaders who lost the elections were former Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, Delhi Minister Saurabh Bhardwaj, former ministers Somnath Bharti and Satyendra Jain, as well as party leaders Awadh Ojha and Durgesh Pathak.
Chief Minister Atishi, however, secured a win from the Kalkaji constituency.

"We have done a lot of work in the field of health, education, and infrastructure over the last 10 years. The election results largely aligned with exit poll predictions, which had indicated a BJP victory.
In the New Delhi constituency, BJP&rsquo;s Parvesh Verma defeated Kejriwal by over 4,000 votes. Congress candidate Sandeep Dikshit received 4,568 votes. Atishi won from Kalkaji, defeating BJP&rsquo;s Ramesh Bidhuri by over 3,500 votes, while Congress&rsquo;s Alka Lamba secured 4,392 votes.

Sisodia lost in Jangpura to BJP&rsquo;s Tarvinder Singh Marwah by a narrow margin of 675 votes. Conceding defeat, he expressed hope that the winning candidate would serve the constituency well.
Among other winners, Gopal Rai secured the Babarpur seat, defeating BJP&rsquo;s Anil Kumar Vashisht by 18,994 votes. Kailash Gahlot, who had switched from AAP to BJP before the elections, won from Bijwasan, defeating AAP&rsquo;s Surender Bhardwaj.
Several BJP leaders also emerged victorious, including Vijender Gupta from Rohini, Kapil Mishra from Karawal Nagar, and Ravinder Singh Negi from Patparganj.

The Delhi Anti-Corruption Branch (ACB) on Friday served a legal notice to AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal, seeking details and evidence regarding his allegations that the BJP attempted to bribe his party candidates ahead of the Delhi Assembly election results.&nbsp;
The legal notice comes just a day before the counting of votes is scheduled to take place for the Delhi Assembly elections held on February 5.&nbsp;
The notice, delivered at Kejriwal&rsquo;s 5, Ferozeshah Road residence, has intensified the political tensions between AAP and the BJP, with the former calling it a politically motivated move.&nbsp;
The ACB&rsquo;s notice specifically refers to a post on X by Kejriwal accusing the BJP of offering bribes to 16 AAP candidates to switch sides.&nbsp;

The notice asks Kejriwal to confirm whether the tweet was made by him and provide detailed information on the alleged poaching attempts.&nbsp;
It also seeks the names of the 16 candidates who received phone calls, the phone numbers of those who contacted them and any supporting evidence to substantiate these claims.&nbsp;
&ldquo;Provide the evidence and proof to support the claim/allegations of the offer of a bribe levelled by you and your party members on various media/social media platforms,&rdquo; the ACB notice reads.&nbsp;
The notice also warns of potential legal action, asking Kejriwal to explain why those spreading such allegations should not be prosecuted for creating &ldquo;panic and unrest&rdquo; among the people of Delhi.&nbsp;
&ldquo;Explain as to why an appropriate legal action should not be taken against the persons spreading such information on media/social media platforms, which is tantamount to creating panic and unrest situations amongst the people of Delhi,&rdquo; the notice reads.&nbsp;
Earlier, high drama unfolded as AAP strongly criticised the ACB&rsquo;s action, calling it an attempt to intimidate the party ahead of the election results.&nbsp;
AAP&rsquo;s legal cell chief Sanjeev Nasiar alleged that the ACB initially had no legal notice and was sitting outside Kejriwal&rsquo;s house without clarity on their purpose.&nbsp;
&ldquo;They did not have any legal notice at first. After one-and-a-half hours, they served us with a notice. This drama is orchestrated by the LG office in collusion with the BJP. The officers were under pressure,&rdquo; Nasiar claimed.&nbsp;
AAP Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh backed these allegations, stating that more than 16 AAP candidates had been approached by unidentified individuals attempting to lure them away from the party.&nbsp;
&ldquo;We have already released the phone number of one such instance and are now filing a complaint. I challenge the BJP to take action against at least one of them,&rdquo; Singh said.&nbsp;
The BJP, however, dismissed AAP&rsquo;s accusations, labelling them as baseless and an attempt to deflect attention from the party&rsquo;s internal troubles.&nbsp;

High political drama unfolded in the national capital on Friday as an Anti-Corruption Branch (ACB) team reached AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal's residence at 5, Ferozeshah Road.
On Thursday, Kejriwal alleged that the BJP attempted to lure 16 AAP candidates to destabilise his party ahead of the election results.
Delhi went to polls on February 5 for the 70-member Assembly and results will be announced after counting of votes on Saturday.
The ACB's move came after Kejriwal accused the BJP of attempting to poach AAP's candidates a day before the poll results.
The ACB's visit was prompted by Delhi Lieutenant Governor V K Saxena, who ordered a probe into Kejriwal's allegations. However, the situation turned tense as AAP leaders refused to let the ACB officials meet Kejriwal, accusing them of acting under the BJP's influence.
AAP's legal cell chief Sanjeev Nasiar said the ACB does not have either a warrant or mandate for investigation. They are just sitting outside Kejriwal's house and are unclear about their purpose, he added.
"We have not allowed them to enter Kejriwal's house and meet him. When we asked why they were here, they said they were sent to receive a complaint from Kejriwal.
"But (AAP Rajya Sabha MP) Sanjay Singh has already reached their office to file a complaint. They are just taking orders from someone else over the phone. It's just a political stunt of the BJP," Nasiar said.
Singh alleged that more than 16 AAP candidates have been approached in an attempt to break them away from the party.
"We have already released the phone number of one such instance and are now going to file a complaint. All details will be revealed during the inquiry. I challenge the BJP to take action against at least one," the Rajya Sabha MP added.

Delhi Lt Governor VK Saxena has approved an investigation into AAP&rsquo;s allegations that the BJP attempted to lure its candidates ahead of the Delhi Assembly election results on February 8. The BJP dismissed AAP&rsquo;s claims as defamatory and an attempt to tarnish its image before the results.
Lt Governor Saxena emphasized the need for an inquiry and instructed authorities to examine the allegations.
In a social media post, AAP chief and former Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal asserted that 16 AAP candidates had received offers from the BJP. He alleged that they were promised ministerial positions and Rs 15 crore each if they defected.

"Some agencies are showing that the abusive party (BJP) is getting more than 55 seats. In the last two hours, 16 of our candidates have received calls that if they leave AAP and join their party, they will be made ministers and given Rs 15 crore each," Mr. Kejriwal wrote in Hindi.
He also cast doubt on the exit polls predicting a BJP victory.
"If they are indeed winning more than 55 seats, why are they calling up our candidates? These fake surveys are a conspiracy to create an atmosphere to break AAP candidates. But not a single one of them will switch sides," he added.
Delhi Chief Minister and AAP candidate from Kalkaji, Atishi, also spoke out against the alleged attempts to poach candidates, questioning the BJP&rsquo;s confidence.
"If the abusive party (BJP) is getting more than 50 seats, then why are they trying to break our candidates by contacting them?" she posted on X.

Atishi further claimed that exit polls predicting a BJP win were manipulated to "demoralise AAP candidates and create an atmosphere where defections could be encouraged."
Following a complaint by the BJP against AAP&rsquo;s allegations, Lt Governor Saxena ordered an investigation.

"The Lieutenant Governor has desired that this matter merits a thorough investigation through the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) to establish the truth in the matter," a statement from VK Saxena&rsquo;s office read.

&ldquo;This clearly shows that the BJP has accepted its defeat even before the results and is now resorting to such tactics,&rdquo; Singh stated.
<h3>BJP dismisses claims, warns of legal action</h3>
Denying the allegations, Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdeva accused the AAP of fabricating claims out of &ldquo;frustration&rdquo; over an impending loss.
&ldquo;Sanjay Singh should either retract his allegations and tender an apology or face legal action,&rdquo; Sachdeva said.
&ldquo;He should not forget that his party leader, (former) Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal, is already facing a defamation case for making similar false allegations.&rdquo;
Singh, however, insisted that AAP has advised its candidates to record such calls and use spy cameras to document any poaching attempts.
Chief Minister Atishi, AAP&rsquo;s candidate from Kalkaji, also weighed in, questioning the BJP&rsquo;s alleged attempts to influence candidates. &ldquo;If the abusive party (BJP) is getting more than 50 seats, then why are they trying to break our candidates by contacting them?&rdquo; she asked in a post on X.
She further claimed that exit polls predicting a BJP victory were a deliberate attempt to demoralize AAP candidates.

"My parents have health issues but they were very excited about voting since morning," the former chief minister told reporters. His wife Sunita Kejriwal and son Pulkit Kejriwal also accompanied him to their polling station.
Kejriwal said hopefully people will vote for "those who work".
Sunita Kejriwal said people are "very intelligent" and will make the right choice. "They won't tolerate hooliganism," she said.

In his post on X, Kejriwal said, "In response to a complaint about the growing hooliganism, the Election Commission has filed a police case against the Chief Minister of Delhi. So now, the official stance of the Delhi Police and the Election Commission is - The 'work' of the Delhi Police and the Election Commission is to engage in hooliganism against the Aam Aadmi Party, provide protection to the BJP's hooliganism, and distribute liquor, money, and goods."&nbsp;
He further stated, "If anyone tries to stop them from doing this 'work,' a case will be filed against that person for obstructing the 'work' of the police and the Election Commission."
Atishi, in her response to the case, pointed out the lack of action against BJP candidate Ramesh Bidhuri, whose family members were reportedly involved in violations of the MCC.&nbsp;

"The Election Commission is also amazing! Ramesh Bidhuri ji's family members are openly violating the code of conduct. No action is being taken against them. I filed a complaint and called the police and Election Commission, and they filed a case against me! Rajiv Kumar ji: How much will you ruin the electoral process?" the Delhi CM wrote on X.
The DCP South East Delhi, in a post on X, reported that Atishi was found violating the MCC on February 4 at 12:30 AM along with 50-70 people and 10 vehicles at Fateh Singh Marg.&nbsp;
The police instructed them to vacate the area, and a case was filed following a complaint by the Flying Squad Team (FST), under sections of the Representation of the People Act.
In another update, the DCP South East Delhi mentioned that AAP members Ashmit and Sagar Mehta had obstructed and assaulted a Head Constable who was documenting the gathering at Baba Fateh Singh Marg, Govindpuri.&nbsp;
The police officer, HC Kaushal Pal, was responding to the situation and began recording video when the altercation occurred. The DCP confirmed that an FIR has been registered under sections related to obstruction of public duty and assault while on duty, with further investigations ongoing.

She challenged the Delhi Chief Minister to take a dip in the river, saying, "Arvind Kejriwal has turned the Yamuna River into a drain. Black, dirty, rotten water is flowing in Yamuna. The river is on a ventilator, while Arvind Kejriwal is in his palace and roams around in luxurious cars. Thousands of women from Purvanchal have come here to challenge him- he should not be so scared of women and should come out and take a dip in the dirty water of Yamuna and take a sip of that water."
Maliwal further added that the women of Purvanchal are also upset with Kejriwal due to his unfulfilled promises, claiming that they believe "he will be cursed by Chhathi Maiya because the women have no other place to celebrate Chhath."
The Delhi High Court recently heard a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) regarding the ban on Chhath Puja on the banks of the Yamuna. The court did not issue any directions, citing the severe contamination of the river. It pointed out that nearly 1,000 alternative locations had been designated for the celebrations, with adequate arrangements in place.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Monday accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of plotting a conspiracy ahead of the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections.&nbsp;
Kejriwal alleged that the BJP would misuse the Delhi Police and claimed party members would pose as Election Commission officials to deceive voters.&nbsp;

"Aam Aadmi Party is heading to a historic victory and BJP is heading towards its worst defeat. BJP will use Delhi Police to commit hooliganism. BJP workers will approach poor people and pretend to be Election Commission officials, asking them to mark their finger with ink and take Rs 3,000 in exchange for votes," Kejriwal said.&nbsp;
He further added, "BJP people are going into slums claiming that the Election Commission will visit the homes of voters before the elections, which is false. The Election Commission does not conduct voting in homes."
In a separate address, Manish Sisodia, a senior leader from AAP, condemned BJP&rsquo;s alleged threats and claimed the public would reject these tactics through their votes.
"The public will answer BJP's hooliganism with their votes. Baba Saheb made the people masters by creating a democratic system. Now, BJP is threatening the public, but we are the disciples of Baba Saheb and Bhagat Singh. We are not afraid of their tactics," Sisodia said. He expressed confidence that the people of Delhi had made up their minds to elect Kejriwal as Chief Minister again.
Meanwhile, BJP candidate for New Delhi Assembly constituency, Parvesh Verma, made a bold prediction about the results. Verma stated that BJP would win by a significant margin, claiming that Kejriwal would lose his deposit and finish in third place.&nbsp;
"We will win by a margin of over 20,000 votes, possibly even 25,000-26,000. Kejriwal will lose his deposit here and come in third," Verma declared.
Earlier, BJP MP Nishikant Dubey also suggested that Kejriwal would lose in the New Delhi constituency, citing the Delhi Police's control over his "goons." He pointed out that the Union Budget had provisions benefiting Purvanchali people, who he believed were now leaning toward the BJP.&nbsp;
"Delhi Police has controlled his (Kejriwal's) goons. Purvanchalis feel safer with the BJP, and this has resulted in the loss of AAP's vote bank. Kejriwal will lose here," Dubey claimed.
BJP leader and Union Minister Piyush Goyal also targeted AAP, claiming that the people of Delhi would reject their false promises. He emphasized that the BJP's focus on development and welfare would deliver a good government under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi.
"The people of Delhi will be free from fake promises and will have a credible government led by PM Modi, which focuses on public welfare. Delhi residents are eager to elect a double-engine government under BJP's leadership. The BJP victory seems almost certain now, especially after the Prime Minister's budget gift to the middle class, which has relieved them of the tax burden," Goyal stated.
The Delhi Assembly elections will be held on February 5, with the results to be announced on February 8.
