Here&rsquo;s a comprehensive look at the latest developments from ASUS, featuring technologies from AMD Ryzen AI, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40, and more across their laptops and gaming portfolios.&nbsp;
<h3>ASUS TUF Gaming A14 and A16 Laptops&nbsp;</h3>
At Computex 2024, ASUS introduced the TUF Gaming A14 and A16 models, both equipped with cutting-edge AMD Ryzen AI processors and powerful NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 GPUs. The A14 is configured with an RTX 4060 GPU, whereas the A16 is enhanced with a RTX 4070, catering to different levels of gaming performance needs. &nbsp;
Both models are designed with significant upgrades in cooling solutions and memory, sporting LPDDR5X-7500 modules to handle intensive applications and gaming scenarios.&nbsp;
The TUF Gaming A16 features a new chassis design with a 17.9 mm thickness and a 90% screen-to-body ratio. It includes a larger touchpad and full-sized arrow keys for enhanced usability. The A16 boasts two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports, a USB 4 port with DisplayPort 2.1, a USB 3.2 Type-C port with 100 W Power Delivery support, an RJ45 ethernet jack, an HDMI 2.1 out, and a 3.5 mm combo jack. &nbsp;
Inside, it is powered by the latest AMD Ryzen AI processors based on the Zen 5 architecture, paired with up to an RTX 4070 laptop GPU and a 90 Wh battery. The display is a 16-inch 2.5K panel with 400 nits of brightness, 3 ms response times, and a 165 Hz refresh rate.&nbsp;
The TUF Gaming A14, on the other hand, is slightly smaller and lighter, featuring a 16.9 mm thick chassis with a 14-inch display. It also includes advanced cooling solutions with second-generation Arc flow fans and a full-width heat sink. The A14 comes with an FHD webcam supporting Windows Hello, a glass touchpad, and a keyboard with 1.7 mm travel. &nbsp;
The display matches the A16's specifications with a 2.5K resolution, 165 Hz refresh rate, and 400 nits brightness, featuring NVIDIA G-SYNC and Advanced Optimus. Recent rumors from Taiwan suggested that Asus was planning to discontinue its Zenfone smartphone series after the release of the Asus Zenfone 10.
However, Asus has officially denied these claims, stating that the Asus Zenfone 10 will not mark the end of the Zenfone series.
<h3>Asus Addresses Rumours</h3>
In an official statement, the company clarified that the Asus Zenfone 10 is not the final installment in the series, and they have no plans to shut down the Zenfone product line.&nbsp;
The statement read, "We would like to address the rumor that Asus Zenfone 10 will be the last generation of the series and the Asus Zenfone product line will be shut down. This is not true.
We will continue our two main phone business product lines, the ROG Phone and the Zenfone. Asus reaffirms its commitment to smartphones and customers. Please reference our Q2 earnings call for more information. Please stay tuned for our 2024 product lineups."
<h3>Response to the Recent Report</h3>
The report that Asus was responding to did not suggest that the company would completely exit the smartphone market, but rather, it indicated that the company would cease the Zenfone line and reallocate those resources to the ROG Phone.&nbsp;
However, Asus has categorically stated that both product lines, ROG Phone and Zenfone, will continue, and even hinted at the 2024 product lineups.
While this statement clearly refutes the rumors, it is important to note that companies often deny such rumors, especially when a new product, like the Asus Zenfone 10 launch is about to take place in key markets like the United States.&nbsp;
For instance, LG once "firmly denied" rumors that it was discontinuing one of its last smartphones and that its smartphone business was in jeopardy, only for the business to close down a few weeks later.

The device also retains an IP68 rating, similar to its predecessor. However, it now includes a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, a 4,300mAh battery, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
&nbsp;The screen resolution is 1080p with a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 144Hz mode is activated during gaming sessions. The Asus Zenfone 10 features Gorilla Glass Victus on the front, aluminum sides, and a polycarbonate back with a textured finish.&nbsp;
The camera system of the Zenfone 10 includes a 50-megapixel main camera with OIS, a 13-megapixel ultrawide lens, and an upgraded 32-megapixel selfie camera with pixel-binning technology.
A new mode in the gimbal-like stabilization system dynamically adjusts the level of shake correction based on the situation.&nbsp;
Asus has also committed to providing two OS updates and four years of security patches for the Zenfone 10, an improvement over the two years of security support offered for the Zenfone 9.

Asus has announced the brand new ProArt Studiobook 16 3D OLED laptop at CES 2023, which brings glasses-free 3D to this creator workstation. Using what the company calls Spatial Vision technology, this is the world's first glasses-free autostereoscopic 3D OLED panel - with a 3.2K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, a 16:10 aspect ratio, and a 180-degree hinge.
&nbsp;The 3D &nbsp;technology on the ProArt Studiobook 16 3D works by using a combination of advanced eye-tracking and a lenticular lens to create distinct images for each eye. The lenticular lens splits the display's image into two separate images, one for each eye, and the eye-tracking technology follows the movement of the viewer's eyes to ensure that each eye is seeing the correct image. This creates an image that appears to pop off the display and gives the impression of 3D depth without the need for glasses.&nbsp;
The 3D OLED panel is geared towards metaverse app developers, 3D modellers, and content creators. The ProArt Studiobook 16 OLED is powered by a 13th Gen Intel Core i9 processor, Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 GPU, up to 64GB DDR5 RAM, and 8TB of PCIe Gen 4 storage.&nbsp;
It also has a stylus-compatible haptic touchpad, a full-size chiclet keyboard with a number pad, and the Asus Dial for precise control in certain apps. It comes with two Thunderbolt 4 ports and a full-size SD card slot for transferring large files.
Asus says hat the 3D OLED display can be swapped for a 2D OLED touchscreen with the same resolution and refresh rate. &nbsp;The company plans to release an updated version of its ProArt Studiobook 16 OLED laptop, featuring a pro-certified Nvidia RTX laptop GPU, in the second quarter of 2023.

The ROG Phone 6D series brings MediaTek's most powerful chipset and a unique new cooling system with a motorised hinge.

Asus has launched the new ROG Phone 6D and 6D Ultimate, the Dimensity-powered cousins to the ROG Phone 6 and 6 Pro.
<h3>ROG Phone 6D series specifications</h3>
The 6D and 6D Ultimate are both powered by the latest MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ SoC.
Memory is one of the distinctions between the normal 6D and the Ultimate edition. The Ultimate version supports up to 16GB/512GB of storage, while the base 6D model supports up to 16GB/256GB.
To extract every last bit of performance from the Mediatek chipset, Asus created a cooling system that is groundbreaking, even by its own standards.
The 6D Ultimate has a unique new cooling system. Its AeroActive Portal on the back has a motorised hinge that automatically opens up an airway when the AeroActive Cooler 6 is connected. This allows the fan to dissipate heat far more efficiently, leading to superior sustained performance.&nbsp;
The two devices have the same 6.78-inch OLED display with 10-bit colour depth, 165Hz refresh rate, and HDR10+ support as the original ROG Phone 6 series.
The main camera is a 50MP sensor with 1.0-micron pixel size and f/1.9 lens. It is accompanied by a 13MP f/2.2, ultrawide shooter and a 5MP macro camera. The sensor of the selfie camera has a 12MP resolution.
Likewise, the battery capacity remains unchanged at 6,000 mAh with compatibility for up to 65W rapid charging through USB Power Delivery.
Additionally, the design is basically unchanged. On the rear of the 6D Ultimate model is a ROG Vision colour PMOLED display, while the basic model has an RGB LED-illuminated ROG logo.
Even ROG Phone 6 and 6 Pro accessories are compatible with the new 6D and 6D Ultimate.
<h3>ROG Phone 6D series price</h3>
The only colour available on the ROG Phone 6D series is Space Grey. The base model 6D is priced at &pound;799, whilst the Ultimate model costs &pound;1,199 but includes the AeroActive Cooler 6 attachment.
There is no word on the India launch of the ROG Phone 6D series.

There is also an integrated microphone with compatibility for the voice assistants Cortana and Alexa.

The laptop-like experience that doesn't burn a hole in your wallet

If it's laptop-like productivity you're looking for on a budget, then it's likely you've heard of Chromebooks. With work from home and e-learning on the rise, these devices have been integral in helping shift life online.
Asus is one of the leading manufacturers of Chromebooks, and the Asus Chromebook CX1101 is the latest laptop-like productivity device from the brand. The Asus Chromebook CX1101 comes at an attractive price point of ₹19,999, so to better understand all of its features, read on for our Asus Chromebook CX1101 review.
<h3>Design</h3>
The CX1101 looks like a pretty well-designed and well-built laptop, and comes in this nice Transparent Silver colour. There&rsquo;s a Chromebook logo in the corner, but apart from that, it&rsquo;s hard to tell it apart from any other compact laptop.
The CX1101 is quite lightweight at 1.24kg, which is partly also down to the fact that this isn&rsquo;t a touchscreen Chromebook, but that&rsquo;s something we'll get into later. It&rsquo;s also worth noting that this isn&rsquo;t the slimmest device by any margin, and it&rsquo;s quite thick at 17.55mm.
However, all that bulk does come with its advantages. The CX1101 gets a Military-Grade chassis, which means its passed durability tests that exceed military standards. The hinge is sturdy and feels like it could take some abuse, and there&rsquo;s not a lot of flex in the keyboard area. Moreover, it&rsquo;s screen can open flat at a 180-degree angle, although that feature is more useful in touchscreen Chromebooks.
<h3>Display</h3>
The Chromebook CX1101 sports an 11.6-inch display, which is surrounded by a thick shroud of bezels.
Now while we do wish Asus had gone for slimmer bezels in this day and age, the screen does get adequately bright, even in outdoor conditions. With 16 brightness levels available, we found ourselves using it mostly at level 10 for day-to-day work indoors.
This is only an HD screen, so the resolution is 1366 x 768 pixels, which we'll admit isn&rsquo;t the best. The screen colours are also a bit on the flatter side, and being an LCD panel, viewing angles aren&rsquo;t all that good either.
<h3>Hardware &amp; Utility</h3>
Under the hood, the CX1101 runs an Intel Celeron N4020 processor with integrated Intel UHD Graphics.
There&rsquo;s 4GB LPDDR4X RAM here, and storage is 64GB eMMC, which is expandable thanks to a microSD card slot.
Speaking of card slots, a great thing about the CX1101 is its port options, because there are a lot.
There&rsquo;s two USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-C ports for data transfer and power delivery, two USB 3.2 Gen1 Type A&nbsp;ports, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a Kensington lock slot that allows the Chromebook to be secured physically using a key or combination lock.
The CX1101 also gets a 720p HD webcam that isn&rsquo;t the highest quality, but it should be good enough for basic video calling tasks.
For connectivity, there&rsquo;s Bluetooth v5.1, along with 802.11ac dual-band Wi-Fi 5.
The CX1101 also houses a 42Wh battery that claims to last up to 13 hours, and gets fast charging with the included 45W fast charging adaptor in the box.
One of our favourite parts of the CX1101 is its keyboard. Despite the layout missing a couple of keys like a Windows or Command key, it&rsquo;s pretty easy to get used to it. Moreover, thanks to 1.5mm of key travel, the typing experience on the CX1101 is quite enjoyable, even for extended periods of time.
It&rsquo;s worth noting that the keyboard is not backlit, which does make typing in dark or low-light conditions a bit of a challenge.

<h3>Software</h3>
Since it is a Chromebook after all, the CX1101 runs on ChromeOS.
