In a fresh development, reports have suggested that the production house has roped in Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna for their next venture, 'Vampires of Vijay Nagar', set to go on floors in November. <h3>Rashmika-Ayushmann in Dinesh Vijan's next?&nbsp;</h3>
According to a Pinkvilla report, Rashmika and Ayushmann have been cast to play the leading roles in Maddock Films' 'Vampires of Vijay Nagar'. Quoting a source close to the development, the publication revealed, &ldquo;Ayushmann Khurrana and Dinesh Vijan have previously worked together on Bala and share a great creative bond. They have been discussing Vampires of Vijay Nagar for a while now and are all set to take the film on floors by the end of this year." The source also added that the team is aiming to start the film in November.
&ldquo;It will mark the first collaboration of Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna. Both the actors have a very unique arc in the film, which will take the audiences by surprise. The script is presently in the writing stage and will soon get into the pre-production stage,&rdquo; the source added.

 For the unversed, Tahira Kashyap was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2018. She took to her Instagram account to share the health scare and wrote, ", &ldquo;I was detected with DCIS (ductal carcinoma in situ) in my right breast with high-grade malignant cells. Simply put stage 0 cancer/pre-cancerous stage, with cancer cells multiplying in a contained area. This mastectomy has left me with even more self-love! Mine has made me a 2.0 version of myself! This post is dedicated to the awareness, self-love and resilience of a warrior that I know each one of us possesses.&rdquo;
Meanwhile, on the work front, Ayushmann was last seen in 'Dream Girl 2'. He will next feature in 'Badhaai Ho 2'. Directed by Amit Sharma, the film will release on December 15, 2024.&nbsp;

Ayushmann Khurrana has been confirmed for Luv Ranjan and Ankur Garg's much-anticipated biopic on Indian cricket legend Sourav Ganguly as per exclusive update, Times of India reported. &nbsp;
The sports biopic will be directed by Vikramaditya Motwane and it stands out as one of the most anticipated Hindi films in the pipeline. An official announcement regarding the collaboration is still awaited. The reports say that the formalities have recently been completed, and he has officially signed on for the project. Ayushmann is known for his left-handed batting style, which is being considered the best choice for playing Sourav, who is also left-handed.&nbsp; &nbsp; The reports also say that the film will go on the floors in 2024 while the exact shooting timeline is yet to be finalized. &nbsp;

Actor Ayushmann Khurrana, who is currently basking in the success of his latest film &lsquo;Dream Girl 2&rsquo;, has reacted to rumours of him potentially playing Sourav Ganguly in the legendary cricketer&rsquo;s biopic.
Earlier, it was reported that Ranbir Kapoor will star in the biopic. Now, in a recent interview, Ayushmann neither confirmed nor denied the report.
When questioned about the Sourav Ganguly biopic rumours, Ayushmann told Pinkvilla, &lsquo;I&rsquo;m not saying anything right now. We have to make an official announcement whenever and whatever that happens.&rsquo;
When asked about the possibility of &lsquo;Dream Girl 3&rsquo;, Ayushmann said, &lsquo;I don&rsquo;t know, you will have to ask Raaj Shaandilyaa (director of Dream Girl and Dream Girl 2). If he comes up with an equally outrageous idea like Dream Girl and Dream Girl 2, we should definitely go for it. And if it has crazy laugh out moments and great gags, then why not? It is a front bencher massy film and once in a while you will see me in that avatar along with my core genre.&rsquo;
According to industry tracker Sacnilk, &lsquo;Dream Girl 2&rsquo; has earned Rs 91.43 crore since its release. The film, which is a sequel to the 2019 blockbuster &lsquo;Dream Girl&rsquo;, features a star-studded cast, including Paresh Rawal, Manjot Singh, Seema Pahwa, Annu Kapoor, Rajpal Yadav, Abhishek Banerjee, Asrani, Vijay Raaz, and Manoj Joshi.

Sourav Ganguly fans have eagerly been waiting for an update on his biopic. Now, if reports are to be believed Ayushmann Khurrana will be portraying the role of the former Indian cricket captain in the film.
Mid-day reported that Ayushmann would team up with director Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth for the biopic and the duo will kick off the shoot in December.
Ayushmann Khurrana will soon begin preparations as he will have to train in various aspects&mdash; from replicating Ganguly&rsquo;s batting stance to perfecting his manner of hitting winners on the off-side.
A source told Mid-Day, Ayushmann will begin training next month in Mumbai, giving him over two months to prep for the role before the project goes on floors in December.
Ganguly, who is closely involved with the Luv Ranjan and Ankur Garg production, is said to have already met the leading man.
It&rsquo;s not clear yet if the first schedule will be shot in Mumbai or in the former cricketer&rsquo;s native city, Kolkata.
Meanwhile, Ayushmann Khurrana is currently basking in the success of his recent release &lsquo;Dream Girl 2&rsquo; co-starring Ananya Panday. Directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa, the film has earned nearly Rs 70 crore in its first week. The film also stars Anu Kapoor, Rajpal Yadav, Vijay Raaz, Paresh Rawal, and Abhishek Banerjee, among others.

'Of course, you take inspiration from Kamal Haasan sir in Chachi 420 or Govinda in Aunty No 1. A lot of actors have done this, including Kishore Kumar ji. So actors have gotten an opportunity in every decade to play characters like these. I&rsquo;m glad I got it too with this film, which says a lot in a light-hearted, fun way,' Ayushmann said.
Ayushmann also spoke about his forthcoming film and joked that he wants to win both best actor and actress for his role in 'Dream Girl 2'.
He added that it was challenging to shoot the movie in 45 degrees in Mathura.&nbsp;
