<p>Recalling her conversation with Aamir, Kareena shared, "He was shattered. He met me and said, 'Our movie didn&rsquo;t work. You&rsquo;ll still talk to me, won&rsquo;t you?' I told him, 'We are actors, and I am proud you entrusted me with Rupa [her character].'"</p>

Dutt&rsquo;s rugged and powerful presence promises to add a new level of intensity to the series.</p>

<p>Actor Tillotama Shome, who has delivered a series of acclaimed performances like &lsquo;The Night Manager&rsquo; and &lsquo;Lust Stories 2&rsquo;, shared how she was made to feel like an outsider by Bollywood elites.</p>
<p>In a Film Companion roundtable interview, Tillotama shared that this made her resentful and bitter towards the industry, but this hurt her more than anyone else, as she stopped getting work for years.</p>
<p>Tillotama said, &lsquo;The industry is not one person, it&rsquo;s a group of people. But I had felt outside that group for 20 years, because I did the kind of films that weren&rsquo;t released in India, or had very limited release. So, I had the great satisfaction of meeting many wonderful people, wonderful crew, wonderful directors, and being a part of wonderful stories. But I also had to contend with the loneliness of not knowing people in Mumbai.&rsquo;</p>
<p>She continued, &lsquo;In those rare occasions where there would be a public screening, and one would be invited, almost by mistake, I would feel so out of place, because no one would say hi. Our parents enforced in our upbringing that you say hello to everybody in the room, but it wasn&rsquo;t a very forthcoming room. The mistake I made was I saw this room, I judged the room, I left the room. When you become that judgy, that cynical &mdash; you may have all your reasons &mdash; it starts eating you up from the inside. And very quickly, in those two years, not only did I repulse work, no work came my way, and I was also on a high horse&hellip;&rsquo;</p>
<p>Tillotama said that she had to change her mindset, which resulted in her doing more work in one year than she had ever done before.</p>
<p>She said that her mother&rsquo;s positive attitude turned her mindset around, and put things in perspective, because she was unwell at the time.</p>
<p>&lsquo;I started attracting all this work. Six-seven projects in a year and a half. I had 20 years of waiting and whining,&rsquo; she said.</p>

<p>Actor Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, who is basking in the success of his latest web series &lsquo;Scoop&rsquo;, has revealed in an interview that on several occasions, his roles have been reduced in films because it was felt that he was overpowering his more popular co-stars.</p>
<p>Speaking with Siddharth Kannan, Zeeshan shared that many times, he was assured that he&rsquo;d get an individual poster for himself, but that hasn&rsquo;t happened.</p>
<p>Zeeshan is currently negotiating with the producers of an upcoming project to give him a &lsquo;special appearance&rsquo; credit because they&rsquo;ve completely butchered his role. &lsquo;You&rsquo;ll know it when you see it, you&rsquo;ll wonder how I could have agreed to this project,&rsquo; he said.</p>
<p>When told what actor Arshad Warsi recently said about insecure stars getting his lines edited because they felt he was going to steal the scene, Zeeshan admitted that this had happened to him as well.</p>
<p>&lsquo;This has happened to me, it has happened often, and it has happened majorly. It&rsquo;s in the past, but I&rsquo;ve had to deal with it. So often, in rehearsals, they can tell if I&rsquo;m running away with the scene, and when you see the script the next day, the entire character graph has been changed,&rsquo; he said.</p>
<p>He continued, &lsquo;Sometimes, you get this shock after the edit, when you&rsquo;re watching the film at a screening. And you realise that scenes have been cut, the camera is no longer on you, the movie cuts to the next scene where you had a good line. This has happened a lot, and on some level, I&rsquo;ve gotten used to it. But yes, it feels equally bad each time.&rsquo;</p>

<p>Actor-singer Piyush Mishra recently released his autobiographical novel &lsquo;Tumhari Auqaat Kya Hai Piyush Mishra&rsquo; in which he revealed that he faced sexual assault at the hands of a distant female relative some 50 years ago.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Speaking with the news agency PTI, Mishra reflected on the incident that happened when he was studying in the seventh standard.</p>
<p>He said that the incident left him shocked, and he was surprised at what had happened. He further said that sex is such a healthy thing that your first encounter with it should be good, otherwise, it can scar you for life. He said the sexual assault gave him a complex and it took him a long time, and several partners to come out of it.</p>
<p>Piyush Mishra&rsquo;s book also traces his journey from the narrow alleys of Gwalior to Delhi&rsquo;s cultural centre of Mandi House and eventually to Mumbai.</p>
<p>&lsquo;I wanted to hide the identity of some people. Some of them are women, and some men who are now well established in the film industry. I did not want to take revenge against anybody, or to hurt anyone,&rsquo; Mishra told PTI.</p>
<p>In the book, the noted actor, singer, and composer narrates his life through the autobiographical character of Santap Trivedi, or Hamlet, as he was known in his alma mater, the National School of Drama (NSD).</p>
<p>Piyush Mishra made his mark as an actor, songwriter, singer, and scriptwriter in films such as Vishal Bhardwaj&rsquo;s &lsquo;Maqbool&rsquo; (2004), Anurag Kashyap&rsquo;s &lsquo;Gulaal&rsquo; (2009) and most notably, &lsquo;Gangs of Wasseypur&rsquo; in 2012, where he played the narrator.</p>
<p>Mishra has also written, composed, and sung for films like &lsquo;Gulaal&rsquo; and &lsquo;Gangs of Wasseypur&rsquo;.</p>
