A study published in Nature Communications found that pollen allergy season could start up to 40 days earlier and last 19 days longer by the year 2100 due to climate change.
The rising global temperatures are responsible for seasonal allergies causing trees, weeds and grasses to go through early pollination. The study also states that annual pollen emissions will increase by 40% due to weather changes but will drastically rise to 250% if carbon dioxide and other harmful gases from ignition of coal, gasoline and natural gases are continued to be produced at current rates.
A recent report from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration noted that countries globally experienced record-breaking warm temperatures last month as the average temperatures rose 2.7 degrees above the 20th-century standard.

A 70-year-old man sitting in his truck as strong winds blew through Talledega County, Alabama, was killed Friday when a tree fell onto the vehicle. Coroner Shaddix Murphy said it happened about 11.30 am as a storm system came through the area.
&ldquo;The death appears to be weather-related, with the winds we were having at the time,&rdquo; Murphy said. The victim was identified as Allen Cooley of Talledega.

In west central Mississippi, a person was killed inside a vehicle Friday after a tree, toppled by strong winds, struck the car. The Mississippi Emergency Management Agency has not identified the person but said in a news release that their death is being considered as weather-related.
Parts of southwestern Michigan and northern Indiana saw rain, freezing rain, sleet, snow and strong wind gusts on Friday, according to Indiana Michigan Power.
The National Weather Service issued numerous tornado warnings in parts of Indiana, Alabama and western Georgia.
In Kentucky, Gov. Andy Beshear warned of possible tornadoes and 55- to 65-mph (88- to 104-kph) wind gusts after rain moves through the state. Several school districts closed in anticipation.
&ldquo;The wind will really kick in after the storm moves through,&rdquo; Beshear said Friday. &ldquo;I don't want people to have confidence that it's going to be safe.&rdquo; Power provider Ameren Illinois reported more than 18,000 customers without service in the central part of the state after storms packing wind gusts as high as 69 mph (111 kph) swept through the region.
In New England, the storm was expected to bring as much as 18 inches (45 centimeters) of snow and winds gusts as high as 40 mph (64 kph) to parts of New Hampshire and Maine.
The weather service issued a winter storm warning from 10 pm Friday until 7 p.m. Saturday and said that a mix of snow, sleet and rain was expected in southern New England and that minor coastal flooding was possible in Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
The storms slammed California earlier in the week with as much as 10 feet (3 meters) of snow, with some residents in mountains east of Los Angeles looking at being stuck in their homes for at least another week.

The World Meteorological Organisation (WMO) in its latest report stated that Asia was warmer than the rest of the world with its average temperature in 2021 about 0.86 degree celsius higher than the average of year 1981-2010.
While for the global average, recorded temperature was about 0.42 degreee celsius higher than 1981-2010.
WMO's State of Climate report highlighted that the year 2021 was cooler for Asia than 2020.&nbsp; However more than 100 weather-related disasters resulted in over 4000 deaths and massive economic losses and deaths.
The economic impact of flooding was the highest in China at 18.4 billion USD, followed by India at 3.2 billion USD and Thailand at 0.6 billion USD, the report added.
While for cyclones, and storms the damage has been significant in India at 4.4 billion USD, followed by China at 3.0 bilion USD and Japan at 2 billion USD.
The economic losses from the natural calamities as per the report amount to over 35 billion USD in 2021, including 7.5 billion in India.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday said India's G-20 presidency will be inclusive, ambitious, decisive, and action-oriented, noting that the country is taking the charge at a time when the world is grappling with geopolitical tensions, economic slowdown and rising food and energy prices.
India was handed over the presidency of the influential bloc at the end of the two-day G-20 summit here which was hosted by Indonesia.
In his remarks at the closing ceremony of the summit, Modi said India will strive to ensure that the G-20 acts as a global "prime mover" to envision new ideas and accelerate collective action over the next one year.
"India is taking charge of the G-20 at a time when the world is simultaneously grappling with geopolitical tensions, economic slowdown, rising food and energy prices, and the long-term ill-effects of the pandemic," Modi said.
"At such a time, the world is looking at the G-20 with hope. Today, I want to assure that India's G-20 presidency will be inclusive, ambitious, decisive, and action-oriented," he said.
India will officially assume the G20 Presidency from December 1.
The next G20 Leaders' Summit at the level of Heads of State/Government is scheduled to be held on September 9 and 10 in New Delhi.
The prime minister said India's presidency of the G-20 is a proud occasion for every Indian and that the country will organize G-20 meetings in different cities and states.
"Our guests will get full experience of India's amazing diversity, inclusive traditions, and cultural richness. We wish that all of you will participate in this unique celebration in India, the 'Mother of Democracy'. Together, we will make the G-20, a catalyst for global change," he said.
Modi also listed India's priorities for the G-20.
"Over the next one year, we will strive to ensure that the G-20 acts as a global prime mover to envision new ideas and accelerate collective action," he said.
"The sense of ownership over natural resources is giving rise to conflict today, and has become the main cause of the plight of the environment. For the safe future of the planet, the sense of trusteeship is the solution," he added.
Modi noted that LiFE that is a 'Lifestyle for Environment' campaign can make a big contribution to this. "Its purpose is to make sustainable lifestyles a mass movement." The prime minister emphasised that the benefits of development are universal and all-inclusive.
"We have to extend the benefits of development to all human beings with compassion and solidarity. Global development is not possible without women's participation," he said.
Modi said the G-20 has to convey a strong message in favour of peace and harmony.
"All these priorities are fully embodied in the theme of India's G-20 Chairmanship -- 'One Earth, One Family, One Future'," he said.

Sunak took to Twitter to reveal his plans after criticism from climate activists and within the government from Indian-origin COP27 President Alok Sharma, who said it was important for the prime minister to be present to show the UK&rsquo;s commitment on the issue of climate action.
The pressure mounted further as his ex-boss, former prime minister Boris Johnson, confirmed that he would be attending the summit scheduled between November 6 and 18.
"There is no long-term prosperity without action on climate change,&rdquo; tweeted Sunak.
"There is no energy security without investing in renewables. That is why I will attend COP27 next week: to deliver on Glasgow's legacy of building a secure and sustainable future," he said, with reference to the COP26 summit chaired by the UK in Scotland last November.
The Opposition Labour Party described the reversed decision to attend as Sunak being "dragged kicking and screaming into doing the right thing; embarrassing".
The Green Party called it a "screeching U-turn" and "an embarrassing mis-step on the world stage" to initially announce plans not to attend.
Earlier this week, Downing Street said Sunak&rsquo;s attendance at the summit was &ldquo;under review&rdquo; as progress was being made with Chancellor Jeremy Hunt on the preparation of a crucial economic statement scheduled for November 17.
Many world leaders, including US President Joe Biden and France's Emmanuel Macron, are due to go to the 27th Conference of the Parties of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC).
India's Union Environment Minister Bhupender Yadav will lead an 18-member delegation at COP 27, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi&rsquo;s attendance yet to be confirmed.

Nearly 100 people have died in one of the most destructive storms to lash the Philippines this year with dozens more feared missing after villagers fled in the wrong direction and got buried in a boulder-laden mud slide, while more than a million others were swamped by floodwater in several provinces, officials said Monday.
At least 53 of 98 people who died &mdash; mostly in flooding and landslides &mdash; were from Maguindanao in the Bangsamoro autonomous region, which was swamped by unusually heavy rains set off by Tropical Storm Nalgae.
The storm blew out of the country and into the South China Sea on Sunday, leaving a trail of destruction in a large swath of the archipelago.
A large contingent of rescuers with bulldozers and backhoes resumed retrieval work in southern Kusiong village in the hard-hit province of Maguindanao, where as many as 80 to 100 people, including entire families, are feared to have been buried by a boulder-laden mudslide or swept away by flash floods that started overnight on Thursday, said Naguib Sinarimbo, the interior minister for a Muslim autonomous region run by former separatist guerrillas under a peace pact.
The government's main disaster-response agency also reported 69 people were injured in the onslaught and at least 63 others remain missing.
More than 1 million people were lashed by the storm, including more than 912,000 villagers who fled to evacuation centres or homes of relatives.
More than 4,100 houses and 16,260 hectares (40,180 acres) of rice and other crops were damaged by floodwaters at a time when the country was bracing for a looming food crisis because of global supply disruptions, officials said.
Sinarimbo said the official tally of missing people did not include most of those feared missing in the huge mud slide that hit Kusiong because entire families may have been buried and no member was left to provide names and details to authorities.
The catastrophe in Kusiong, populated mostly by the Teduray ethnic minority group, was particularly tragic because its more than 2,000 villagers have carried out disaster-preparedness drills every year for decades to brace for a tsunami because of a deadly history.
But they were not as prepared for the dangers that could come from Mount Minandar, where their village lies at the foothills, Sinarimbo said.
&ldquo;When the people heard the warning bells, they ran up and gathered in a church on a high ground,&rdquo; Sinarimbo told The Associated Press on Saturday, citing accounts by Kusiong villagers.
&ldquo;The problem was, it was not a tsunami that inundated them but a big volume of water and mud that came down from the mountain,&rdquo; he said.
In August 1976, an 8.1-magnitude earthquake and a tsunami in the Moro Gulf that struck around midnight left thousands of people dead and devastated coastal provinces in one of the deadliest natural disasters in Philippine history.
Lying between the Moro Gulf and 446-metre (1,464-foot) Mount Minandar, Kusiong was among the hardest hit by the 1976 catastrophe.
The village never forgot the tragedy. Elderly villagers who survived the tsunami and powerful earthquake passed on the nightmarish story to their children, warning them to be prepared.
&ldquo;Every year, they hold drills to brace for a tsunami. Somebody was assigned to bang the alarm bells and they designated high grounds where people should run to,&rdquo; Sinarimbo said. &ldquo;Villagers were even taught the sound of an approaching big wave based on the recollection of the tsunami survivors.&rdquo; &ldquo;But there wasn't as much focus on the geo-hazards on the mountainside,&rdquo; he said.
Bulldozers, backhoes and payloaders were brought to Kusiong on Saturday with more than 100 rescuers from the army, police and volunteers from other provinces, but they were unable to dig at a spot where survivors said the church lay underneath because the muddy mound was still dangerously soft, officials said.
The stormy weather in a large swath of the country hindered transportation as millions of Filipinos planned to travel over a long weekend for visits to relatives' tombs and for family reunions on All Saints' Day in the largely Roman Catholic nation.
Nearly 200 domestic and international flights were cancelled, Manila's international airport was briefly closed amid stormy weather and voyages in storm-whipped seas were prohibited by the coast guard, stranding thousands of passengers.
Floodwaters swamped many provinces and cities, trapping some people on their roofs. President Ferdinand Marcos Jr expressed disappointment over the high casualty toll in a televised meeting Saturday with disaster-mitigation officials.

This was Licypriya's first live Facebook video, where she has a verified account and over 1,87,000 followers. &nbsp;The young environment activist was standing on a roadside with traffic movement in the backdrop as she went live on Facebook ahead of Diwali to talk about impact of firecracks vis a vis pollution. &nbsp;She was live for five minutes and 55 seconds when suddenly she was cut short as the phone was snatched away, according to the purported video. &nbsp;It also appeared that Licypriya was not holding the phone and either someone else was recording the video for her or it was placed on some object to record the video, the purported footage showed. &nbsp;Deputy Commissioner of Police (Central Noida) Ram Badan Singh said, "Directions have been issued to the local Bisrakh police station for investigation in the case. Legal proceedings are being carried out."

London's Metropolitan Police said its officers arrested two protesters from the group for criminal damage and aggravated trespass after they "threw a substance over a painting" at the gallery on Trafalgar Square and glued themselves to a wall just after 11 am (1000 GMT).
Police said they had unglued the protesters and taken them to a central London police station.
The National Gallery said the two protesters "appeared to glue themselves to the wall adjacent to Van Gogh's 'Sunflowers'" and threw a "red substance" at the painting. The room was cleared of visitors and police called, it added.
A video posted on Twitter by the Guardian newspaper's environment correspondent Damien Gayle and retweeted by the eco-activism group shows two women wearing T-shirts with the slogan "Just Stop Oil" lobbing cans of soup at the iconic painting.
After glueing themselves to the wall, one of the activists shouts: "What is worth more, art or life?"
"Are you more concerned about the protection of a painting or the protection of our planet and people?" she asks.
In the video, someone can be heard yelling "oh my God" as the soup hits the canvas, and another person shouts "Security?" while soup drips from the frame onto the floor.
Just Stop Oil said in a statement its activists threw two cans of Heinz Tomato soup over the painting to demand the UK government halt all new oil and gas projects.
It later tweeted that the protest's message was "Choose life over art".

The activist group said the painting has an estimated value of $84.2 million.
The National Gallery on its website says the signed painting from 1888 was acquired by the gallery in 1924.
It is one of five versions of "Sunflowers" on public display in museums and galleries across the world. Van Gogh created seven in total.&nbsp;
The gallery called the works "among Van Gogh's most iconic and best-loved works".
The attack came a week after Britain's Home Secretary Suella Braverman issued a threat to direct-action protesters who she said were using "guerrilla tactics" to bring "chaos and misery" to the public.
"Whether you're Just Stop Oil, Insulate Britain or Extinction Rebellion, you cross a line when you break the law -- and that's why we'll keep putting you behind bars," she said.
Just Stop Oil has previously targeted several other famous paintings with glue attacks.
In June, two activists glued their hands to the frame of van Gogh's painting "Peach Trees in Blossom" at the Courtauld Gallery in London.
In July, supporters glued their hands to the frame of British painter John Constable's "The Hay Wain" at the National Gallery.
They first taped over the canvas with a "reimagined version" of the bucolic scene, showing the landscape covered in pollution, dotted with wildfires and overflown by aircraft.
In the same month, they glued themselves to a full-scale copy of Leonardo Da Vinci's "The Last Supper" at the Royal Academy in London.
In recent days, Just Stop Oil has held multiple protests blocking highways.
Met Police Commissioner Mark Rowley said of the protests that he was "frustrated so many officers are being taken away from tackling issues that matter most to communities."
