The decision was announced by Prashant Jagtap, leader of the NCP-Sharad Pawar faction, who lost the Hadapsar seat in Pune.
The move follows a meeting in Delhi on Tuesday evening involving NCP-SP chief Sharad Pawar, AAP convenor Arvind Kejriwal, and senior Congress leader and lawyer Abhishek Singhvi.
The INDIA bloc claims the BJP-led Mahayuti coalition&rsquo;s overwhelming victory&mdash;securing 235 of the 288 seats&mdash;was influenced by tampered EVMs. The opposition Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) alliance managed only 46 seats in the assembly.
Sharad Pawar has been meeting party leaders who suffered defeats in the election, fueling the bloc's determination to challenge the results. During the meeting, Arvind Kejriwal also raised concerns about voter lists in Delhi, where assembly elections are scheduled early next year.

As voting is underway in eight Lok Sabha seats in Uttar Pradesh, the Samajwadi Party on April 19 alleged booth capturing by the BJP in many parts of the state.

Posting on social media X, the SP, tagging the Election Commission, has claimed that polling booths in Muzaffarnagar and Kairana have been captured by the BJP.
It further claimed that EVM machines have malfunctioned in several polling booths in Saharanpur.&nbsp;
The seats include Saharanpur, Bijnor, Kairana, Muzaffarnagar, Nagina (reserved), Moradabad, Rampur and Pilibhit. These fall in the Jat and sugarcane belt of the state.
Among the prominent candidates are BJP's Jitin Prasada from Pilibhit, Union minister Sanjeev Balyan from Muzaffarnagar and Azad Samaj Party chief Chandra Shekhar Azad from Nagina.
The ruling Bharatiya Janata Party has joined hands with the Rashtriya Lok Dal while the Samajwadi Party has allied with the Congress for the election. The Bahujan Samaj Party has decided to go solo.

A total of 80 candidates -- 73 men and seven women -- are in the fray in the first phase of polling.
The Election Commission (EC) said, 1.43 crore people are eligible to cast their votes in the first phase. Of them, 76.23 lakh are men, 67.14 lakh are women and 824 are transgender persons.
According to data compiled by political parties, Muslim voters account for 35 to 50 per cent of the electorate in these constituencies.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Electoral Officer Navdeep Rinwa said the polling is being held on 14,849 polling booths at 7,689 polling centres.
To ensure tight security arrangements, 6,018 inspectors and sub-inspectors, 35,750 constables and 24,992 home guard personnel, along with 60 companies of the Provincial Armed Constabulary (PAC) and 220 companies of the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) have been deployed.&nbsp;

Himachal elections: Polling party suspended after EVMs found in private car

Officials claimed that the polling party used a private vehicle in a hurry to surrender the EVM/VVPAT machines and to be free from responsibility.

A polling party was suspended after it was found carrying EVM machines in private vehicle in Rampur area of Shimla district in the hill state.&nbsp;
The party was intercepted by a group of Congress workers on Saturday night who filed a complaint with the election body and urged to take action citing violation of rules. The workers also alleged tampering with the machines.&nbsp;
However, as soon as the incident was reported, Election commission authorities along with the police closely checked the EVM/VVPAT machines and said no tampering was found.
Officials claimed that the polling party used a private vehicle in a hurry to surrender the EVM/VVPAT machines and to be free from responsibility.
Himachal Pradesh assembly elections were conducted on Nov 12.&nbsp;

According to the Basti police chief Ashish Shrivastava  Police have filed a case against 6 SP workers who have been named and 30 unnamed ones, accusing them of manhandling government officials in western UP’s Hapur  In central UP's Hardoi, 100 SP workers were booked on March 11 by the police for similar reasons, and two named accused were arrested this morning. One of those arrested had switched over to BJP-ally Nishad Party two days after the election results.

ANI reported that the election commission vehicle assigned to the panel team broke down and they used the BJP Patharkandi candidate's car to transport the EVM.
A crowd, mostly of opposition supporters, surrounded the car, as per the news reports. The district administration had to resort to police action to disperse the crowd and secure the vehicle, the EVM, and the polling personnel, officials said.
Congress leaders Gaurav Gogoi and Priyanka Gandhi have lashed out at the Election Commission over the incident.
Targeting the BJP over the incident,&nbsp;Priyanka Gandhi said the Election Commission should act decisively on such complaints and that a serious re-evaluation of the use of EVM&rsquo;s needs to be carried out by all national parties.
