The order of teams ranked from third to ninth remains the same. Only nine teams are now ranked as Afghanistan and Ireland have yet to play sufficient Tests while Zimbabwe too are out as they have played only three Tests over the past three years. Teams need to play a minimum of eight Tests over a three-year period to get on the rankings table.

At 39 years 1 month, Nabi has become the oldest player to top the ICC ODI all-rounders' table, breaking the record held by Tillakaratne Dilshan, who was 38 years 8 months when he was top in June 2015.
Bangladesh all-rounder Shakib held the position for 1739 days -- from May 7, 2019 (when he took over from Rashid Khan) until February 9 -- the longest unbroken stretch anyone has had on top of the ODI all-rounder rankings.
But an ongoing injury concern coupled with some good recent form from Nabi has seen a change at the top.

James Anderson slipped to second after England's 1-run loss in the second Test against New Zealand.

India's Ravichandran Ashwin has become the No. 1 Test bowler in the latest ICC Rankings.
With 864 rating points, Ashwin is now above England's James Anderson, who has 859 points.
Anderson, who was leading the Test bowlers' chart last week, slipped a place to second after England's 1-run loss against New Zealand.
Ashwin's rise to the top comes after the off-spinner took 14 wickets in the first two Tests against Australia.
He's also second in the Test all-rounders rankings, only behind his compatriot Ravindra Jadeja.

Ravindra Jadeja, after yet another Player of the Match performance, jumped 7 places to break into the top 10 bowlers chart for the first time since September 2019.

After India's win in the Delhi Test, both R Ashwin &amp; Ravindra Jadeja moved up in the latest ICC rankings for bowlers.
Ashwin rose to second among the bowlers, with the off-spinner now only 2 rating points behind James Anderson at the top. Australian captain Pat Cummins, meanwhile, dropped 2 places and is now third on the list.
The big mover though was Ravindra Jadeja. The 34-year-old who picked his second consecutive Player of the Match award in the Delhi Test, jumped 7 places to break into the top 10 bowlers chart for the first time since September 2019. He is currently ranked 9th.
Jadeja though continues to top the all-rounders' rankings, with Ashwin behind him in second. Axar Patel, who played an all-important 74-run knock in the first innings at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, climbed two places to reach 5th on the list.

Ghosh's unbeaten knocks of 41 against the West Indies and 47 against England in the Women's T20 World Cup over the past week took her to a career-best 20th position.
She is fifth Indian in the top 20 list with Smriti Mandhana at third, Shafali Verma at 10th spot while Jemimah Rodrigues and Harmanpreet Kaur at 12th and 13th spots respectively.
Meanwhile, India pace spearhead Renuka Thakur moved seven places and registered her career-best fifth position after her five-wicket haul against England in the World Cup.

There was confusion all around in the cricketing world on Wednesday as far as ICC Test rankings was concerned. The official website of Cricket's governing body showed India to have leapfrogged Australia to take top spot but ICC put the Aussies back on top later that evening.

The news of India becoming the number 1 Test side came after the hosts beat Australia in the 1st Test in Nagpur but it was not to be

There was confusion all around in the cricketing world on Wednesday as far as ICC Test rankings was concerned.
The official website of Cricket's governing body showed India to have leapfrogged Australia to take top spot with 115 rating points while Australia had 111.
But later in the evening, ICC put the Aussies back on top with 126 rating points while India had 115.
The news of India becoming the number 1 Test side came after the hosts beat Australia in the 1st Test in Nagpur but it was not to be.
The ICC clarified that it happened due to a website glitch which was later corrected.

Ravichandran Ashwin, who was ranked 4th among Test bowlers before the Border-Gavaskar Trophy began, has jumped to second in the latest ICC rankings.

Spin twins Ravichandran Ashwin &amp; Ravindra Jadeja have made significant gains in the latest ICC rankings after their heroics in India's win against the Aussies in the Nagpur Test.
The duo, who took 15 wickets between them in the match, consolidated their position at the top of the all-rounder rankings. While Jadeja is top with 424 points, Ashwin is second with 368.
Ashwin, in fact, also jumped 2 places to become the new No. 2 in the bowlers' rankings. He now trails Aussie captain Pat Cummins at the top by 21 points.
Player of the Match in the first Test, Jadeja, who returned to international cricket after a 5-month injury layoff, also gained 4 spots among the bowlers and is now 16th, two places ahead of compatriot Mohd Shami.
Indian captain Rohit Sharma also leaped a couple of places after his brilliant hundred. He is now 8th, a spot behind Rishabh Pant.
