It&rsquo;s that time of the year when we look back at the films and performances throughout the year and celebrate the best. The international Indian Film Academy Awards has unveiled the full list of nominees in the IIFA Popular Category. The 24th edition of the IIFA will be held in Manhattan in October 2024 and hosted by Bollywood superstars Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan.&nbsp;
Ranbir Kapoor starrer &lsquo;Animal&rsquo; is dominating with total 11 nominations, followed by Ranveer Singh&rsquo;s &lsquo;Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani&rsquo; with 10 nods. The actor will reportedly be grooving on his chartbusters, including first ever live performance on the title track of his latest film. According to sources, he will also give the audiences a nostalgia trip by dancing on songs like ‘Dheeme Dheeme’ (Pati Patni Aur Woh), Coca Cola (Luka Chuppi) and Bom Diggy Diggy (Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety).
‘Kartik has tirelessly rehearsed for his performance while juggling with vigorous promotions of his film ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2,’ the sources added.

The 22nd edition of the much-awaited International Indian Film Academy (<a href="https://www.editorji.com/entertainment-news/bollywood/iifa-awards-2022-ananya-panday-sara-ali-khan-salman-khan-and-others-attend-the-press-conference-1654318321413" target="_blank">IIFA</a>) 2022 was held on June 3 and June 4 in Abu Dhabi. While &lsquo;IIFA Rocks&rsquo; event was held on 3rd June, the main awards night took place on June 4.
It was Vicky Kaushal and Kriti Sanon who bagged the &lsquo;Best Actor&rsquo; and &lsquo;Best Actress&rsquo; awards for their stellar performances in &lsquo;Sardar Udham&rsquo; and &lsquo;Mimi&rsquo; respectively.

Several celebs including Ananya Panday, Sara Ali Khan, Salman Khan, Nora Fatehi, Jacqueline Fernandez and others have made their grand appearance at the press conference which was held on June 3, 2022.
The much-awaited awards night of the year has been organised after two years as they were postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic. 
The main event which has been scheduled for June 4, 2022, and will be hosted by Salman Khan, Riteish Deshmukh, and Maniesh Paul.
The who’s who of Bollywood graced the green carpet with style. Pop artists like YoYoHoneySingh, Guru Randhawa, Neha Kakkar and Dhvani Bhanushali were among other celebs who impressed the audience with their starry performances.

The International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) has decided to postpone the 'IIFA Weekend & Awards', which was slated to take place from May 19 to May 21, following the demise of UAE President Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
The event, which was originally scheduled for 19 to May 21 in Yas Island in Abu Dhabi, has now been postponed to mid-July.
According to the statement issued by the organisers to the media, it stated “With this sad news, the UAE nation is in a state of mourning and has declared a 40-day mourning period. In solidarity with the people and Government of the UAE and with the national mourning being observed, the 22nd edition of the IIFA Weekend & Awards to be held on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi from the 19th to 21st of May 2022 has been postponed.”
As per the statement,  the award ceremony will now be held from July 14 to July 16 this year. “IIFA expresses its apologies to all the fans and ticketholders and promises a bigger, more exciting celebration of the India-UAE friendship at the later date.” 
Salman Khan, Riteish Deshmukh, and Maniesh Paul are expected to host the IIFA 2022 edition.
