Veteran actors Zeenat Aman and Neetu Kapoor graced the Koffee couch in the recent episode of the talk show, where they shared nostalgic anecdotes, and engaged in playful banter.
During the well-known rapid-fire round, Zeenat Aman faced some challenging choices, and her responses are likely to surprise her fans.
When the host asked Zeenat, who she believes would be ideal to play her iconic character Rupa if a sequel to &lsquo;Satyam Shivam Sundaram&rsquo; is made. The actor replied that Deepika Padukone would be ideal for the role.
When Karan asked Zeenat to pick an actor to play her in a potential biopic, she firmly chose Priyanka Chopra for the role.
Zeenat Aman made her acting debut in the 1970s. She starred in famous films such as &lsquo;Har&eacute; Rama Hare Krishna&rsquo;, &lsquo;Don&rsquo;, and &lsquo;Dharam Veer&rsquo;. Her outstanding performances in &lsquo;Qurbani&rsquo; and &lsquo;Satyam Shivam Sundaram&rsquo; cemented her status as a talented performer.
Zeenat Aman will soon be seen in Manish Malhotra&rsquo;s &lsquo;Bun Tikki&rsquo;. The team recently wrapped up the shoot, and the actor posted about the same on her Instagram. She shared a picture in a beautiful pink saree, which suggestively represents her character, Sitara Jaan, in the film, and wrote, &lsquo;And It&rsquo;s a Wrap for Sitara Jaan.&rsquo;
The movie will also star Shabana Azmi in a pivotal role. Zeenat and Shabana have previously appeared in &lsquo;Ishk Ishk Ishk&rsquo;, and &lsquo;Ashanti&rsquo;. The film is directed by Faraz Arif Ansari. Jyoti Deshpande, Dinesh Malhotra, and Marijke Desouza produce the film for Manish Malhotra&rsquo;s Stage 5 Productions. The forthcoming episode of &lsquo;Koffee With Karan&rsquo; Season 8 will feature veteran actors Zeenat Aman and Neetu Kapoor. The episode's promo has been released, offering a glimpse of exciting revelations and laughter as the actors share behind-the-scenes and on-screen stories.&nbsp;
Neetu introduces Zeenat Aman as &lsquo;style aur sexiness ki dukaan (the one stop shop for style and sexiness)&rsquo; while Zeenat calls Neetu &lsquo;lovely and vivacious&rsquo; as they make themselves comfortable on the &lsquo;Koffee With Karan&rsquo; couch. Saif Ali Khan and Sharmila Tagore appeared in the recent episode of &lsquo;Koffee With Karan&rsquo; Season 8 and made some interesting revelations about their personal and professional lives.
During the show, Karan discussed Saif's marriage to Amrita and the actor revealed that Sharmila was upset with him after the wedding.
Saif shared that he married Amrita without informing his parents Sharmila and Tiger Pataudi which left them &lsquo;hurt.&rsquo;
&lsquo;She told me, &lsquo;I believe you are living with someone and you are doing something.&rsquo; So I said yes and she said, &lsquo;Well, just don&rsquo;t get married.&rsquo; And I said, &lsquo;I got married yesterday.&rsquo; A big tear fell out of her eye and she started crying. Sharmila shared that she met Amrita Singh over tea when she was visiting Mumbai after Saif began dating her.
While Sharmila was shocked by the turn of events, she liked Amrita.
&lsquo;I was visiting Mumbai for something. So, Saif came to meet me and said &lsquo;I have something to tell you&rsquo; and then he told me. I don&rsquo;t know what I was doing but I was quiet. He said, &lsquo;Amma, your colour is changing, you&rsquo;re looking different &lsquo; and I said, &lsquo;Okay, we&rsquo;ll talk about it later&rsquo;. After he left, I ran up to Tiger (Saif Ali Khan&rsquo;s father) and told him. There was also a long silence on that part and we left it at that. The next day, I called him and said &lsquo;I would like to meet Amrita&rsquo; and we had tea, and we chatted. I liked her but still quite shocked,&rsquo; Sharmila said.
Saif explained that he felt a sense of stability and believed he could build a home with Amrita during a tumultuous period in his life.
Saif married Amrita Singh in October 1991 and they had two children, Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim Ali Khan. However, they separated in 2004.

Longtime friends and collaborators Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty appeared in the latest episode of Karan Johar&rsquo;s popular chat show &lsquo;Koffee With Karan&rsquo; Season 8. During the show, the duo said that the industry used to be quite close-knit earlier, but now the next generation of Bollywood is insecure and overthinks.
Karan Johar asked Rohit and Ajay, &lsquo;What do you think about the newer generation of actors? Do you think they have that fighting spirit?&rsquo;
Rohit replied, &lsquo;I think too much insecurity or too much validation they need from social media, from people they don&rsquo;t know. I think they are very insecure, I mean I don&rsquo;t know why, but maybe they have their own thing because they are born in this generation.&rsquo;
When Karan asked them if the newer actors overthink, the duo agreed unanimously.
Karan then said, &lsquo;How easily y&rsquo;all did two-three hero films. I don&rsquo;t see that happening today. I don&rsquo;t think they have the security of doing two-three hero films.&rsquo;
To this, Ajay replied, &lsquo;I don&rsquo;t think they have the security of doing solos also. They take 3 years to decide if they have to do this or that.&rsquo;
Later, Karan said, &lsquo;I love that when you go to Ajay or Shah Rukh, Salman and Akshay, after a point, I mean I am not saying that this is sacrosanct, I think they go on their instinct, they will say mujhe 20 minutes mein kahaani bata do and after 20 minutes they understand the world of the film because they have an understanding, today you go to these younger actors.&rsquo;
&lsquo;I am not saying they are wrong, but they want to ghuso into every scene, dialogue, they want a detailed narration and then they take too long to get back to you and you are waiting. With the older generation of actors you get that response immediately,&rsquo; he added.

Actor Ajay Devgn and filmmaker Rohit Shetty will be the next guests in the upcoming episode of the popular chat show &lsquo;Koffee With Karan&rsquo; season 8. The dynamic duo will be seen spilling the beans about their forthcoming film &lsquo;Singham Again&rsquo; and their personal lives.&nbsp;
The promo starts with Karan asking Ajay if he would overreact to success. Rohit Shetty seems to answer on the actor&rsquo;s behalf. He says, &lsquo;I talk about him and Salman. Sidharth Malhotra and Varun Dhawan, who starred together in Karan Johar&rsquo;s directorial &lsquo;Student of the Year&rsquo;, appeared as guests on the latest episode of &lsquo;Koffee With Karan&rsquo; and spilled beans on their personal and professional lives.
While the duo shares a good bond with their co-star Alia Bhatt today, Karan Johar said on the show that it did not begin like this. He revealed that both actors did not want him to cast Alia in the film as they thought she was too young.
Karan said, &lsquo;I still remember with Alia, the first time that she walked in, how both of you sent me messages saying you can&rsquo;t cast her. One of you said she is too young. I am saying it started like this but when we shot with her, three months post that for a photo shoot, I remember she stood quiet and didn&rsquo;t look at either of you. Either she was conscious or shy because you all already knew me. She didn&rsquo;t know me at all. We did the photo shoot, and right after that, I mean, I knew at the first shot.&rsquo;
Karan added that Varun sent him pictures of other actresses he could cast instead of Alia.
In earlier interviews, Alia Bhatt opened up about her first impressions of Varun and Sidharth. Speaking to Sony Music earlier, Alia said, &lsquo;I thought Varun had too much of an attitude. Also, we both came from rival schools.&rsquo;
Varun and Alia have collaborated on many romantic films like &lsquo;Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania&rsquo;, &lsquo;Badrinath Ki Dulhania&rsquo; and &lsquo;Kalank&rsquo; and their chemistry has been appreciated by fans on-screen and also off-screen during their public appearances.
When it came to Sidharth Malhotra, Alia said, &lsquo;As for Sidharth, he kept to himself. But as and when I got to know them, it was fun and we really had a fun time shooting.
Alia and Sidharth dated after the film&rsquo;s release and Alia&rsquo;s beloved cat Edward is a gift from the actor. The duo appeared together in the film &lsquo;Kapoor and Sons&rsquo;.

Host-filmmaker Karan Johar delved into their personal experiences, also reminiscing about their days as assistant directors on Shah Rukh Khan's 'My Name is Khan'.
In the Koffee With Karan promo, Karan Johar introduces Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra as 'Kens without their Barbies', alluding to their wives, designer Natasha Dalal and actor Kiara Advani.
Karan said, &lsquo;They are ideal husbands to the world, but on my couch tonight, these boys are nothing but Kens without their Barbies.&rsquo;
Varun was then seen telling Karan, &lsquo;Just make sure our relationships stay intact.&rsquo;
Varun also called the host Karan Ghartode (homewrecker), seemingly hinting at the recent controversial episode with Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh. &nbsp;&nbsp;
Karan then recalled how Varun was taking pictures with girls during the &lsquo;My Name Is Khan&rsquo; shoot in Los Angeles, US.
Varun said pointing at Sidharth, &lsquo;Even he took pictures.&rsquo; Sidharth then said, &lsquo;He (Varun) was selling Shah Rukh Khan's pictures to the girls.&rsquo;
Karan then said, &lsquo;At that point of time, you both very definitely having very steamy affairs with the costume department.&rsquo;
Sidharth and Varun then turned to Karan and said they would ask him some questions as well.
&lsquo;Three best friends of yours from the industry?&rsquo; Sidharth asked Karan. The filmmaker was blank and the three broke into a laugh. The trio then discussed Varun's 'smooth as velvet butt'.
A day prior, Karan Johar dropped a promo from his popular chat show which hinted at the next set of guests. The clip opened with glimpses of Varun Dhawan, Janhvi Kapoor, Rani Mukerji, and Ajay Devgn.
Vicky Kaushal and Kajol were also seen on the Koffee couch.

In the rapid-fire segment, the host asked Kareena if she would ever play Sara Ali Khan&rsquo;s mother in a film.
The Jab We Met actor replied, &lsquo;I am an actor. I can play all ages. So, you never know.&rsquo;

When Sara brought up Orry&rsquo;s name while answering a question, Karan could not resist and he asked, &lsquo;Who is Orry?&rsquo;
Sara replied, &lsquo;Who doesn&rsquo;t know who Orry is?&rsquo; Ananya added, &lsquo;Someone didn&rsquo;t know and I tried to explain who Orry is. And he told me that he is &lsquo;loved but misunderstood.&rsquo; I think he is going by that now.&rsquo;

Filmmaker Karan Johar shares a strong bond with actors Kajol and Kareena Kapoor. In the latest episode of his chat show &lsquo;Koffee With Karan&rsquo;, Karan opened up about their past differences and revealed how they patched up.&nbsp;
Karan shared that he had differences with Kareena when she chose to star in &lsquo;Main Prem Ki Deewani Hoon&rsquo; over his film &lsquo;Kal Ho Naa Ho&rsquo;. He revealed that they did not &lsquo;speak for a year and a half&rsquo;.
Karan shared that after his father Yash Johar got diagnosed with cancer, Kareena called him.
&lsquo;It was only when my father was diagnosed with cancer that actually she called me. She was silent, I was silent. She was like &lsquo;I don&rsquo;t know what to say&rsquo;. I said &lsquo;Don&rsquo;t say anything, I know you are there&rsquo;,&rsquo; he said.
He added that after his father passed away, Kareena came to see him and they were back where they had left things off.
&lsquo;When he passed away, she was in Bangkok and we hadn&rsquo;t still met. The day she landed from her shoot, she came home and we spent all night chatting and we went back to where we were,&rsquo; Karan added said.
Karan and Kareena had spoken about their fight in the first season of &lsquo;Koffee with Karan&rsquo; in 2004.
Karan also opened up about his fallout with Kajol, which he had discussed even in his 2016 memoir, &lsquo;An Unsuitable Boy. Kajol and Karan&rsquo;s friendship turned sour after &lsquo;Ae Dil Hai Mushkil&rsquo; clashed with Ajay Devgn&rsquo;s film &lsquo;Shivaay&rsquo;.
Karan said it was only after the birth of Karan&rsquo;s twins Yash and Roohi in 2017 that Karan reached out to Kajol and she reciprocated.
&lsquo;I remember messaging Kajol when my babies were born and I hadn&rsquo;t spoken to her for 2 years and I sent her images of Yash and Roohi. I said &lsquo;You don&rsquo;t need to reply but this is what my children look like &ndash; Yash and Roohi. And she messaged back and said &lsquo;I&rsquo;m just full of love right now&rsquo;,&rsquo; he shared.
A month later, Kajol messaged &lsquo;It&rsquo;s my birthday but you don&rsquo;t need to come&rsquo;. &lsquo;I went and we hugged, we cried, it was done,&rsquo; he shared.

In the video, Karan is seen talking to his conscience, who tells him that the last season of &lsquo;Koffee With Karan&rsquo; was boring and it could have been called &lsquo;Kold Koffee With Karan&rsquo;. He then takes a dig at the &lsquo;cheese&rsquo; jokes with nepo babies and how KJo, a 50-year-old man, questioned 20-year-olds about their sex lives.&nbsp;
Karan&rsquo;s conscience also highlighted how the host promoted the brand of his glasses and hair dye.&nbsp;
&nbsp;KJo, who is hurt by these statements, then says he will invite the newly married couple in town on the show. He says he will not invite star kids, but star grandkids or cricketers.&nbsp;
Karan concludes the video by saying that he&rsquo;s brewing season 8 and it is going to be great.&nbsp;
According to DNA report, a press note from the streamer says that in the new season, &lsquo;the conversation will be beyond marriages, airport looks, social media and toodles to toodles&rsquo;.
