Talks of bringing a veteran player like Shoaib Malik back into the team have been doing the rounds for a while now and Raja had a unique take on the matte. "We don't have Lionel Messi sitting on our bench and it is not like we have selected really bad players. We have limited options," Ramiz said on the Pakistani channel.

The already plagued Pakistan are staring at another injury scare as vice-captain Mohammad Rizwan was admitted to hospital just after the conclusion of the India-Pakistan Super 4 clash of Asia Cup 2022. 
As per Pakistani media reports, the wicket-keeper batter underwent a precautionary MRI scan in Dubai. He sustained an injury while landing awkwardly on his right leg during India's first innings. 
However, despite the injury, the Pakistani vice-captain came out to open the innings and scored a match-defining 51-ball 71 as Men In Green chased down the 182-run target in a last-over thriller. 
Pakistan are set to play their next Super 4 match against Afghanistan on September 7 at Dubai International Stadium.
Notably, in the 2021 T20 world cup, Rizwan was admitted to hospital before the semifinal clash against Australia. Though Men in Green lost that game, the wicketkeeper batter went to score 52-ball 67.

Pakistan will play their next Super 4 match against Afghanistan on September 7 at the Dubai International Stadium

Having already lost a couple of players to injuries, Pakistan have another scare to contend with after wicket-keeper batter Mohd Rizwan was admitted to the hospital post their victory over arch-rivals India in the Asia Cup.
As per reports in the Pakistani media, Rizwan underwent a precautionary MRI scan in Dubai. He sustained an injury while landing awkwardly on his right leg during India's first innings.&nbsp;
However, despite the injury, the Pakistani opener came out to bat and scored a match-defining 51-ball 71 to help the Men In Green chase down the 182-run target in the last over.
Pakistan will play their next Super 4 match against Afghanistan on September 7 at the Dubai International Stadium.
This is not the first time Rizwan has been admitted to a hospital in the UAE. Even in the 2021 T20 World cup, Rizwan had to spend nights in a hospital before their semifinal clash against Australia. Though Babar Azam's side lost that particular encounter, the wicketkeeper batter had scored a 52-ball 67.&nbsp;

Australia managed 2 quick wickets in the form of Abdullah Shafique and Fawad Alam but Mohd Rizwan then dug deep along with his captain to get Pakistan out of trouble. Babar Azam meanwhile fought hard to reach 196 but perished soon after as trouble once again brewed for the hosts. Babar's 196 is the highest score by a captain batting in the 4th innings of a Test match. 
With less than 6 overs left in play, the drama continued in Lahore but Rizwan kept everything in control to reach his 2nd Test ton as the match ended in a draw after a tantalising last 30 mins of play. The last match of the 3-match Test series starts in Lahore on Monday 21st March with the series is currently tied a 0-0.
