Researchers collected data from 205,000 cases, which showed that black men are 26 per cent more likely to die of the disese. However, the researchers have long known that men have a higher risk of being diagosed and dying of the disease than women do.&nbsp;
The researchers also concluded that, among black men with melanoma, 48.6 per cent are dianosed at the late stages of the disesaes, when it hard to get treat, compared to 21.1 per cent white men.
And, the location of melanoma also varied by the race, like the 50.7 per cent of black men with melanoma have it on their lower extremities and in white men most cases were on the trunk (35.5 per cent) or head and neck (25.7 per cent).
