West Bengal BJP's Murshidabad unit has announced plans to construct a Ram temple in Berhampore, days after TMC MLA Humayun Kabir proposed to set up a mosque modelled after the Babri Masjid at Beldanga in the same district.
The BJP said the temple&rsquo;s construction will begin on January 22, 2025, exactly one year after the inauguration of the Ram temple in Ayodhya. BJP&rsquo;s Berhampore organisational district president, Shakharav Sarkar, said land for the temple has already been identified, and the project is estimated to cost Rs 10 crore.&nbsp;
"We have already identified a land in Beharampore area and the construction work for the Ram Temple based on the design of the temple on Ayodhya will begin soon," he told reporters.
Kabir, the TMC MLA from Beldanga, had on Tuesday announced plans for the mosque, which he said would honour the sentiments of the region&rsquo;s significant minority population.
His remarks have sparked political controversy, with opposition parties accusing him of attempting to polarise communities for political gain.
The BJP&rsquo;s counterproposal to build a Ram temple is seen as a strategic move to strengthen its presence among the Hindu community in Murshidabad, a district where minorities make up around 75 per cent of the population.
Responding to the controversy, the TMC distanced itself from Kabir&rsquo;s remarks, describing them as his personal opinion.
&ldquo;The TMC has nothing to do with this statement of Kabir,&rdquo; a senior party leader said.&nbsp;
Kabir&rsquo;s announcement has also drawn criticism from the Congress, which accused him of playing divisive politics in a sensitive region.

Leaders of the INDIA bloc will meet here Tuesday night to evolve a strategy for the Lok Sabha Speaker's election even as the Congress said the ball is in the government's court to bring about a consensus on the issue by offering the Opposition the deputy Speaker's post according to convention.
TMC MP Abhishek Banerjee, however, said his party was not consulted on fielding Kodikunnil Suresh of the Congress as the INDIA bloc's joint nominee for the post, adding party chief Mamata Banerjee will take a decision on backing Suresh.
"No one contacted us. There have been no talks, unfortunately this has been a unilateral decision," Banerjee said.
Sources said the TMC has not signed the nomination papers of Suresh for the election of Speaker and may not attend the opposition meeting tonight.
They said top leaders of the INDIA bloc would meet at 8 PM at Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge's residence to chalk out its strategy.
The election for the Speaker's post would be held on Wednesday morning and the NDA has the numbers to win the election.
Congress general secretary Jairam Ramesh said the Opposition's offer was that the government should offer the post of deputy speaker to it according to past conventions and it would offer support to Birla's candidature in return.
However, the government has said the support to Birla's candidature cannot be conditional as the Speaker belongs to all parties and there has to be consensus on his name.
"Parliamentary democracy runs on trust in what the ruling party says, and more importantly trust that is reflected in what it does.
"The Non-biological PM got the 17th Lok Sabha (2019-2024) to run WITHOUT a Deputy Speaker, which was unprecedented. In the 16th Lok Sabha (2014-2019), he gave the post to his covert ally," Ramesh said in a post on X.
He said in the recent past, during the tenures of Manmohan Singh, Atal Bihari Vajpayee, and PV Narasimha Rao, the deputy speaker was an Opposition MP.
"The INDIA janbandhan's offer was very simple. It will support the BJP candidate for Speaker but the Deputy Speaker should be an INDIA janbandhan nominee. This was a perfectly legitimate offer in keeping with Parliamentary traditions. The counter offer by the ruling party - 'Support us now for Speaker and we will discuss Deputy Speaker later' - was unacceptable given the non-biological PM's track record. Tathastu," Ramesh also said.
Congress leaders K C Venugopal and Deepender Hooda said that the ball was still in the government's court which could offer the deputy speaker's post to the opposition and they would withdraw Suresh from the contest for the Speaker's post.
Hooda said the opposition can still withdraw in favour of Birla in case the government decides to offer the deputy chairman's post to the opposition.&nbsp;

Actor-turned-Trinamool Congress MLA Soham Chakraborty created a controversy by assaulting a restaurant owner who allegedly abused party MP Abhishek Banerjee during the shooting of a film there.
Both Chakraborty and restaurant owner Anisul Alam lodged complaints with the police against each other, an officer said on Saturday.
The MLA later said he wanted to apologise to Alam as he should have controlled his anger.
The problem between the two sides began over parking the cars of Chakraborty and his men in front of the eatery in New Town near Kolkata.
According to CCTV footage of the restaurant, which went viral later on, Chakraborty was seen assaulting Alam.
When contacted, the restaurant owner claimed that he had allowed shooting in a portion of his restaurant "free of cost" on late Saturday evening.
"The entire parking space was occupied by the cars of Mr Chakraborty and his men. My staff told his men to remove their cars as other customers were not able to park their vehicles," Alam said.
The restaurant owner added that the actor's men told him that he's an MLA and a very close friend of TMC's national general secretary Abhishek Banerjee.
"I said that I don't care even if he is Narendra Modi's friend or Abhishek's. It was then when suddenly Mr Chakraborty came and punched me on my face and kicked me in my abdomen," Alam alleged.
Chakraborty admitted to slapping the restaurant owner.
"The owner was abusing my staff and Abhishek Banerjee. He also abused me. I lost my cool and slapped him... I should have kept my cool and could have controlled my anger. I would like to apologise to the owner," the actor said.
A senior officer of Bidhannagar Police Commissionerate said that the restaurant owner on Saturday lodged a complaint against the MLA and his security guards.
"We have received complaints both from the MLA and the restaurant owner against each other. We have started cases and investigations are on," the officer said.

Hours after Trinamool Congress leader Kunal Ghosh shared a stage with a BJP Lok Sabha candidate and praised him, the TMC on Wednesday removed him from the post of state general secretary for making statements not aligning with the party.
Ghosh, who has been seeking more prominence for next-generation leaders, had expressed his desire to resign as party spokesperson and state general secretary in March.
The party then accepted his resignation as spokesperson but asked him to continue with the other post.
&ldquo;Kunal Ghosh has been expressing views that don&rsquo;t align with the party&hellip; Mr Ghosh was previously relieved from his role as party spokesperson. Now he has been removed from the position of general secretary of the state organization,&rdquo; the TMC said in a statement.
In the statement signed by TMC Rajya Sabha party leader Derek O'Brien, the party also asked media outlets not to conflate Ghosh's views with those of the party, warning that doing so might invite legal action.
"It is important to clarify that these are his personal opinions.... Only statements issued from the AITC (All India Trinamool Congress) headquarters should be considered the official position of the party," it said.
Despite his removal from the post of party spokesperson, he has been holding press conferences regularly from the party headquarters during the ongoing Lok Sabha election campaign.
A senior TMC leader, speaking on the condition of anonymity, described Ghosh's removal as a "calibrated punishment," indicating that his removal as state spokesperson in March was a warning, and this removal as state general secretary is the final action.
Ghosh did not take part in TMC's Kolkata North Lok Sabha constituency Sudip Bandopadhyay's rally, but attended a blood donation programme where BJP nominee Tapas Ray was present.
At the programme, Ghosh said, "Tapas Ray is a true leader. His doors are always open for party workers and people. I have known him for several decades. Unfortunately, our paths are now different... I am hopeful that the elections will be free and fair, and that no unscrupulous means will be used to retain the seat. Let the people cast their votes freely," he added.
Ray, a four-term TMC MLA, joined the BJP in March after the party re-nominated its incumbent MP Sudip Bandopadhyay in the Kolkata North seat. The BJP then fielded Ray against Bandopadhyay.
Reacting to Ghosh's expulsion from his post, Ray said, "Whom they will suspend or expel is their internal matter. I have nothing to say about it. But it proves TMC doesn't believe in courtesy in politics." Ghosh, considered close to TMC national general secretary Abhishek Banerjee, had kicked off a storm this year that the old guards in the party need to know when to step aside for the next generation.
He had also accused a section of old guards, including Sudip Bandopadhyay, of being hand in gloves with the BJP.
Following this, Chief Minister and TMC supremo Mamata Banerjee herself issued a stern warning instructing party leaders to abstain from publicly discussing differences, emphasizing that any violation may lead to disciplinary action.
The controversy erupted in November last year when Banerjee advocated respecting senior members and dismissed the notion that old leaders should retire from active politics.
TMC national general secretary and Banerjee's nephew, Abhishek, endorsed a retirement age in politics and cited a decline in work efficiency and productivity with advancing age.
A journalist by profession in the vernacular media, Ghosh's rise and fall in the TMC has been a matter of debate.
A vocal critic of the Left Front regime, Ghosh was rewarded with a Rajya Sabha nomination by the TMC in 2012.
However, after the Saradha Chit fund scam bubble burst in 2013, Ghosh, then CEO of the Saradha media group, openly clashed with the TMC.
He was arrested in November 2013 in connection with the Saradha Chit fund scam and was subsequently suspended by the party.
Later, after the CBI took over the investigation, Ghosh continued to speak out against the leadership. In 2016, he was granted bail by the court.
In July 2020, he was appointed TMC's spokesperson, and in June 2021, he was appointed the party's state general secretary.

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Sunday alleged that the BJP is targeting her and her nephew and TMC national general secretary Abhishek Banerjee and they do not feel safe.
 Her allegation came a day after the Leader of Opposition in the assembly, Suvendu Adhikari, said that there would be a "big explosion&rdquo; on Monday which would shake the TMC and its top brass.
 "The BJP is targeting me and Abhishek, we are not safe, but we are also not afraid of the saffron party's conspiracy. We urge everyone to be on guard against a conspiracy against TMC leaders and the people of West Bengal," she said.
 The TMC supremo was addressing an election rally at Kumarganj in Balurghat Lok Sabha seat in favour of party candidate and state minister Biplab Mitra.
 Responding to Adhikari's remark, the TMC supremo said, "There is a traitor who joined the BJP to protect his family and ill-gotten wealth. Let me tell him, his threat to trigger a chocolate bomb explosion is treated with contempt by us." Adhikari, a former TMC minister, defected to the BJP ahead of the 2021 assembly elections in the state.
 &ldquo;If you have courage, come up with truths, come up with facts. I guess it takes time for you to fully build up a false narrative, to fully hatch the conspiracy. But rest assured we are ready to counter,&rdquo; she said.
 "We will counter him by bursting firecrackers. For us firecrackers are unravelling discrepancies in PM Care Fund and 'jumla' of crediting Rs 15 lakh in every citizen's bank account. He only peddles falsehood," she said.
 The TMC supremo alleged that the BJP is bringing in outsiders to the state to foment trouble. Banerjee accused the Narendra Modi government of painting independent institutions such as Doordarshan in saffron hues, and claimed that the BJP "appropriating that colour" is an insult to sacrifices made by monks and spiritual leaders of the country for ages.
 She wondered how the logo of Doordarshan could be painted in saffron during elections, alleging it was done to suit the BJP's "religion-based vote bank politics and agenda". "Why did the DD logo suddenly turn saffron? Why were official residences of army personnel painted in saffron? Why was the uniform of police in Kashi (Varanasi) changed to saffron?&rdquo; she questioned.
 The chief minister claimed that if the BJP returns to power, there will be no more elections in future and religious rights of several communities will be at stake.
 At another meeting in Balurghat, the Lok Sabha constituency of BJP state president Sukanta Majumdar, Banerjee said the Covid vaccination certificate only had the photograph of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
 &ldquo;He only believes in self-publicity. He believes in making tall claims and himself listening to his words,&rdquo; she said.
 Accusing Majumdar of keeping mum on non-payment of 100 days&rsquo; work to the poor labourers of villages and non-release of Awas Yojana funds by the Modi government, she said &ldquo;Your (Majumdar) party leaders are asking bosses in Delhi to stop payment to the poor.&rdquo; Hinting at Adhikari, she said, there is a &ldquo;gaddar&rdquo; (traitor) who is forecasting CBI, ED and NIA raids and arrests of opposition leaders.
 &ldquo;He himself had joined BJP to save his skin and now scaring people with the bogey of central agency raid,&rdquo; she claimed.
 Banerjee said the incarcerated former Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren&rsquo;s wife had told her that the ED in its chargesheet accused him of getting gifts of washing machine and TV sets. She wondered if those items can be described as gifts they are found in many households. Banerjee waived a piece of paper, claiming it was a copy of an FIR against a central armed paramilitary force for assaulting villagers.

Several Trinamool Congress leaders were detained after they started a 24-hour protest outside the Election Commission office in Delhi on April 8.
The party is demanding that the chiefs of CBI, NIA, ED and Income Tax Department be changed.
A delegation of the TMC leaders, including Derek O'Brien, Dola Sen, Saket Gokhale and Sagarika Ghose met a full bench of the Election Commission over their demands.
The TMC has alleged that the central probe agencies have been targeting opposition parties at the behest of the BJP-led Centre.
"The BJP is misusing central agencies against us. The way NIA, ED and CBI are working and targeting TMC leaders is shameful. We would request the EC to ensure a level playing field for all political parties," Sen told reporters at the Kolkata airport before leaving for New Delhi.

The TMC alleged on Sunday an "unholy alliance" between the National Investigation Agency (NIA) and BJP ahead of elections, even as the central agency denied any mala fide intention in its probe and labelled the entire controversy as "unfortunate."
A team of the NIA was allegedly attacked by a mob on Saturday when it went to arrest two main suspects in a 2022 blast case in West Bengal's Purba Medinipur district, sparking a political slugfest with Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee accusing the investigators of assaulting the villagers.
Amid allegations of the NIA colluding with the BJP and attacking the villagers at Bhupatinagar, the central investigating agency on Sunday dubbed the entire controversy as "unfortunate" and rejected any allegations of malice in its investigation.
TMC national general secretary Abhishek Banerjee said in a post on X, "Experience the unfolding alliance between the @NIA_India and @BJP4Bengal, orchestrating conspiracies against Trinamool leaders and the Model Code of Conduct." "While this collusion persists, the ECI stands by, conspicuously silent, neglecting its duty to ensure fair play," Banerjee said.
His post was preceded by a press meet in which TMC alleged that a senior state BJP leader from Paschim Bardhaman district, who had earlier been with TMC, had met an NIA SP at his apartment in the New Town area of the city on March 26 evening and handed over a list of TMC leaders from different parts of the state to be arrested by the agency ahead of the Lok Sabha elections.
"I dare this leader to either refute my allegations with substantial proof of his movement on that day or we will come up with his call records and CCTV footage evidence after 48 hours," TMC leader Kunal Ghosh said in the press conference.
Senior minister and TMC women's wing state president Chandrima Bhattacharya, who was present at the hurriedly called press meet, said she would only add that NIA has dug up a case of fireworks blast of 2022 after one and half years just before the elections and "found involvement of key TMC leaders in Bhupatinagar." "This shows it is not just a case of the NIA proceeding to arrest some people in connection with an incident and facing protests from locals. It shows the deep-rooted conspiracy against TMC by BJP using central agencies," she added.
The NIA, in a statement on its official X handle, rejected the charges.
"Categorically denying any mala fide in its recent actions in West Bengal's Bhoopatinagar area, the National Investigation Agency on Sunday refuted the allegations of unlawful actions levelled against it and dismissed the entire controversy as unfortunate," the statement said.
The central investigating agency made it clear that its "actions were bona fide, lawful, and legally mandated, as part of its ongoing investigation into the heinous crimes related to the fabrication of crude bombs, leading to an explosion that killed three people," in December 2022 in Narubila village in Purba Mednipur.
The NIA reiterated that its team had come under violent attack by an unruly mob when they had gone to conduct searches in Naruabila village on Saturday in connection with its probe into the case.
"The attack was completely unprovoked and uncalled for and an attempt to obstruct the NIA from carrying out its lawful duties," the agency said.
Former Asansol Mayor and senior BJP leader Jitendra Tewary told a TV channel that the TMC is finding the ground slipping under its feet due to the mounting corruption and involvement in cases of terror and atrocities against women and poor villagers and hence "concocting lies and fictitious narratives." "If TMC leader Kunal Ghosh fails to come up with evidence that me or any of our leaders had been involved in influencing the NIA probe or meeting any of their officials, I will file a defamation case against him," Tewary added.
Reacting to Tewary's charge, Banerjee challenged him to send a legal notice.
"Today we exposed BJP's conspiracy and their nexus with the NIA. In a 52-minute meeting with the NIA Officer, BJP hatched a conspiracy to harass TMC leaders. I heard Jitendra Tiwari say that he will send a legal notice.
"Well, even I am waiting for a notice. Let him send the notice and I will release the CCTV footage," he said while addressing a rally at Ghatal.
BJP spokesperson Samik Bhattacharya told reporters that the TMC allegations testify to the desperation of the state's ruling party to build up false narratives against mounting evidence of the involvement of its activists and leaders in misdeeds.
"TMC is trying to divert attention from the total breakdown of constitutional principles in its rule," he added.
The NIA said one of its officers was injured and a vehicle was damaged in the attack that happened in Bhupatinagar.
Banerjee said it was "self-defence" by villagers, alleging that the NIA team had barged into several houses in the early hours over an incident of "bursting of crackers in 2022."&nbsp;

The CBI on Saturday conducted searches on the premises of former TMC MP Mahua Moitra in multiple locations, including Kolkata, in connection with the alleged cash-for-query case, officials said.
Teams of the central probe agency reached Moitra's residence in Kolkata and other cities early on Saturday, informed about the search proceedings and started the operation, they said.
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) registered an FIR against the former Trinamool Congress (TMC) MP on Thursday on the directives of the Lokpal, which has instructed the agency to file a report within six months, they said.
Moitra was expelled from the Lok Sabha in December for "unethical conduct".
The former MP has challenged her expulsion in the Supreme Court and will again be in the hustings during the upcoming general elections as a TMC candidate from the Krishnanagar seat in West Bengal.
The Lokpal, the anti-corruption ombudsman, issued the directions to the CBI after receiving the findings of its preliminary inquiry into allegations made against Moitra by BJP MP Nishikant Dubey.

Hours after his arrest, the Trinamool Congress on Thursday suspended strongman Shajahan Sheikh for six years. In a press briefing, TMC leader Derek O&rsquo;Brien dared the BJP to act against its tainted leaders such as former wrestling body chief Brij Bhushan.
"There are two types of parties, One type of political party does only talk, while the TMC walks the talk," &nbsp;O&rsquo;Brien said while referring to the BJP.
Sheikh was arrested earlier in the day from a house in Bamanpukur in Minakhan police station area, around 30 km away from the island of Sandeshkhali on the outskirts of Sunderbans, in North 24 Parganas district.
Sheikh was hiding in the house along with a few associates, police said.
After the arrest, he was taken to the Basirhat court, which sent him to 10 days in police custody.
Sheikh, who has been at the centre of a massive political firestorm, came out of the lock-up around 10.40 am dressed in white kurta-pajama, and walked to the courtroom with policemen behind him. He also made a gesture with his hand at the media contingent waiting there.
After the hearing, which lasted for barely two minutes, he returned to the lock-up. Later, police whisked him away to an undisclosed destination.
Sheikh was taken into custody within 24 hours of the Calcutta High Court stating that the CBI, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) or the West Bengal Police can arrest him.

The Enforcement Directorate has summoned TMC leader and former Lok Sabha MP Mahua Moitra for questioning in a FEMA contravention case next week, official sources said Thursday.
The 49-year-old politician has been asked to depose on February 19 at the central agency's office in Delhi.
Her statement will be recorded under the provisions of the Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA) once she deposes, they said.
Moitra is being probed by the CBI too and it is conducting a preliminary inquiry into the allegations against Moitra on the reference from the Lokpal.
BJP MP Nishikant Dubey had accused Moitra of asking questions in the Lok Sabha to target the Adani Group and Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the behest of businessman Darshan Hiranandani in exchange for gifts.
He had also accused Moitra of compromising national security for monetary gains.
In December, Moitra was expelled from the Lok Sabha over the issue.
Moitra has denied any wrongdoing and claimed she was being targeted as she had raised questions on the deals of the Adani Group.
"Neither has Lok Pal uploaded any referral order on website as per Lokpal Act &amp; nor has CBI put out anything official. 'Sources' telling journos as per usual media circus. Hope Rs 13,000 crore Adani coal scam merits CBI PE before my witchhunt," Moitra had said on X in November.

I had also told her in 2022 about my resignation from the post of an MP. She had rejected it at that time. I will complete further process after whatever she says," she said.

TMC MLA and renowned writer Manoranjan Byapari on Wednesday expressed concerns about his safety and accused party members of issuing life threats to him due to his outspoken stance against corruption involving Trinamool leaders.
The first-time MLA from Balagar criticised the prevalent corruption and criminal activities in his assembly constituency in Hooghly district and asserted that he is unable to visit the area due to threats from his party comrades.
Byapari accused the local TMC leadership in Balagarh for engaging in illicit activities and intimidating him with "dire consequences" for opposing their actions.
"I joined the TMC thinking I would get a platform to work for the masses. But in Balagarh, a few local TMC leaders are running a show of crime and corruption. When I opposed it, they threatened me that I would be killed," he said.
Stressing the need for proper protection to visit his constituency, the 74-year-old MLA said he had informed the party leadership about it. However, he expressed disappointment saying they remained passive observers while internal strife among TMC leaders intensified.
"I am unable to visit to my constituency as I might be killed if I don't get proper protection. I informed the party leadership, but they are just mute spectators. Presently, TMC leaders are baying for each other's blood," Byapari added.
In response, the TMC leadership instructed Byapari to refrain from discussing the issue with the media.
Senior TMC minister Firhad Hakim emphasised, "If he has anything to say, he can speak within the party. He should not speak to the media on the issue." Byapari, known for his acclaimed autobiography 'Itibritte Chandal Jivan', had joined TMC just months ahead of the 2021 assembly elections.&nbsp;

Women TMC MPs on Thursday will stage a protest at the Parliament complex against Union Minister Giriraj Singh's "misogynistic" comments targeting West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, sources in the party said.
Trinamool Congress (TMC) MP Mahua Moitra on X shared a clip of an interview purportedly given by Singh to a TV channel in which the BJP leader referred to Banerjee and said, "Jashn mana rahi hai, thumke laga rahi hai, yeh uchit nahi hai (she is celebrating and dancing, this is inappropriate)." Several leaders of the TMC slammed the rural development minister for his comments on the chief minister attending the Kolkata International Film Festival.
"The not so honourable minister of rural development Mr. Giriraj Singh has just made some shocking comments about the only lady chief minister in India, Mamata Banerjee," Moitra said in a post on X.
"Your shameful misogynistic comments about only lady CM in India reek of your sick perverted mentality. Yes, we love our jashn. We love our thumkas. We celebrate that BJP can never rule Bengal," she said.
"I would like to strongly protest the pose and posture of one of our Cabinet ministers targeting the only lady chief minister of the country. I can show you the video if you want. It should be noted," TMC Rajya Sabha member Santanu Sen said in the House during a debate on the economic situation in the country.
Sources in the TMC said the party's women MPs will stage a protest at the Mahatma Gandhi statue in the Parliament complex on Thursday morning against Singh.
The TMC has two women members in the Rajya Sabha and seven women members in the Lok Sabha.

TMC leader shot dead on way to mosque, mob lynches his assailant to death

A local Trinamool Congress leader was shot dead at Joynagar in West Bengal's South 24 Parganas district on Monday morning, which led to the lynching of an alleged assailant by a mob, police said.
Saifuddin Laskar (47), TMC area president of Bamungachi area in Joynagar was shot dead from close range near his house by miscreants when he went out to offer prayers in the morning, the police said.
He was rushed to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead.
Enraged supporters of Laskar, whose wife is a panchayat pradhan, caught two of the alleged assailants and lynched one of them. Another was rescued and arrested by the police, which rushed to the spot.
A large police contingent was deployed in the area after the incident.
Local MLA Biswanath Das claimed that goons supported by the CPI-M and BJP were behind the murder.
Eyewitnesses and police said that a number of houses were ransacked, looted and set on fire in neighbouring Daluakhali village after the incident.
Some of the affected people of Daluakhali claimed that their houses were targeted and many of them were assaulted as they are CPI-M supporters. They also claimed that their houses were set on fire in the presence of the police and fire engines were prevented from dousing the flames.
CPI(M) central committee member Sujan Chakraborty said "The incident is reminiscent of the Bogtui carnage.
At least 10 people were killed in arson and violence after the murder of local TMC leader Bhadu Sheikh in Bogtui in Birbhum district in March 2022.
"The murder of Saifuddin Laskar is the result of internal strife within the TMC, it is no use blaming the CPI(M)," he said.
Every death is unfortunate and police must conduct a "proper investigation" to nab Laskar's killers and unravel the conspiracy behind the murder, Chakraborty added.&nbsp;
