Angered over Sanjay's alleged derogatory remarks against Telangana CM KCR's daughter K Kavitha, the party workers also burnt an effigy of the BJP chief.
Bandi made the alleged remark when he was being asked about ED summons to Kavitha in the Delhi liquor scam case.
Bandi was quoted as saying by India Today that, 'this is a diversion tactic to create unrest in the state as CM&rsquo;s daughter is summoned by ED in Delhi Excise policy.'

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Wednesday inaugurated his party Bharat Rashtra Samithi's office in New Delhi, making a foray into national politics.
Rao hoisted the party's flag and formally occupied the seat in the party president's office at Sardar Patel marg, a prime location in the national capital.
Opposition leaders, including Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav, and Janata Dal (Secular) leader H D Kumaraswamy, were present at the inauguration ceremony.
Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi (VCK) president and MP Thirumavalan, farm union leader Gurnam Singh Chaduni along with Rao's wife Shobha, daughter K Kavitha and other family members also attended the inauguration.
On the occasion, a 'rajasyamala yagam' was performed by a group of priests which was followed by the formal inauguration of the office by Rao amid chants of vedic hymns.

Rao had founded the Telangana Rashtra Samithi in April 2001 with a single-point agenda of creating a separate Telangana state with Hyderabad as its capital. His party stormed to power in 2014 and Rao became the first chief minister of Telangana.
Twenty-one years after its formation, the TRS has officially transformed into the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS).
Rao has been nursing national ambitions since 2018 to provide an alternative to both the BJP and the Congress. He has been meeting several regional leaders and chief ministers, including his Bihar counterpart and JD(U) leader Nitish Kumar, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and DMK supremo MK Stalin to forge a united front of opposition parties.

Kavitha, who is the daughter of Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, said that she is ready to face "any kind of inquiry", and dared Prime Minister Narendra Modi to place her in jail.

TRS MLC K Kavitha on Thursday said she and her party leaders who are currently under the radar of the central agencies such as the Enforcement Directorate and CBI are ready to face any inquiry.
She was reacting to reports that her name was mentioned in a remand report by the Enforcement Directorate on one of the accused-Amit Arora- in the Delhi liquor scam case.
"We state that we will face any kind of inquiry. If the agencies come and ask us questions we will certainly answer. But tarnishing leaders' images by giving selective leaks to the media, people will refute it," Kavitha said.

Alleging that BJP has toppled eight democratically elected state governments and snatched power through backdoor politics, she dared Prime Minister Narendra Modi to keep her and other leaders in jail.
"I request Modi that this attitude has to be changed. It is not possible to win elections by using the ED and CBI. It is very difficult with people of Telangana who are cleverer.
If you say that you will keep us in jail, do it. What will happen? There is nothing to be scared of. Will you hang us? At the most you will keep us in jail. That's all," she said.
Kavitha said it has become a regular practice to send agencies such as ED and CBI to poll-bound states. Telangana is slated to go for Assembly polls November or December next year.
She said as long as TRS Party works for the people's welfare nothing will happen.
TRS party workers gathered in large numbers at her residence expressing solidarity.
"As per the investigation carried so far, Vijay Nair, on behalf of leaders of AAP has at least received kickbacks to the tune of Rs 100 crore from a group, called south group (controlled by Sarath Reddy, Ms K Kavitha, Magunta Srinivasulu Reddy) by various persons including Amit Arora," the ED said, adding Amit Arora "disclosed" this during the recording of his statement.

In Bihar, the RJD saw its victory margin fall in Mokama and it fell short of a win in party president Lalu Prasad's home district of Gopalganj, which the BJP retained.
Before the bypolls, the BJP had reportedly held three of these seats, the Congress had two, and the Shiv Sena and the RJD had one constituency each.

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Thursday said the persons arrested in connection with the "TRS MLAs poaching case" were planning to topple four state governments including his own and Congress-ruled Rajasthan and appealed to the judiciary to safeguard democracy.
At a press conference here, Rao referred to the recent 'TRS MLAs poaching case' and played a video allegedly concerning the episode in which three persons were arrested.
"They openly say in the video we already dethroned eight (state) governments. And how they conducted the operation. Now we (the men) are in the process of dethroning four governments, i.e Telangana, Delhi, Andhra Pradesh and Rajasthan," he said.
Rao said the appeals to the judicial system in the country to "protect the democracy in the country" and to punish the culprits whoever it is, was vis-a-vis "purchasing MLAs".
"Henceforth, it becomes the prime duty of every democratic thinker and I expect honourable Supreme court CJ and also honourable judges of the supreme court, honourable CJs of all High courts to discuss and take all required steps, whatever they are in accordance with law." "Please punish the culprit who so ever it is. This kind of open purchasing of MLAs, dethroning governments..." he said.
The three men arrested in the case took the names of top leaders, Rao said.
Condemning the claims of the three persons in strong words, he said the men spoke about dethroning non-BJP governments.
The Arvind Kejriwal-led AAP heads the Delhi government while YSRCP is in the ruling saddle in neighbouring Andhra Pradesh.
Rao said such video evidence has already been submitted to the High Court in connection with the MLAs poaching case.
He further said he will send all the evidence he got in the "TRS MLAs poaching case" to the Chief Justice of India, CJs of all High Courts, media houses, CBI and ED for their knowledge.

KCR's son KT Rama Rao on 1 November 2022 said that "international leader Rahul Gandhi" can't even win "his own Parliament seat in Amethi", but is ridiculing KCR's national ambitions. KTR added that "wannabe PM" Rahul Gandhi "should first convince his people to elect him as an MP" from Amethi.
A day earlier, Gandhi had said that the Telangana CM is welcome to think that he is running an international party that is fighting elections in the US or China.
In response to KTR's attack, the Congress said that it is not a "Nizam shahi party", and that the "eighth Nizam" currently sits in Hyderabad.

Government Whip Balka Suman alleged that it is the handiwork of the BJP which is trying to lure TRS legislators.

The Telangana police on Wednesday claimed that they busted an attempt by three people who were allegedly trying to lure four ruling TRS MLAs to leave the party.
Cyberabad Police Commissioner Stephen Raveendra told reporters that the TRS legislators provided information to them that the trio were trying to entice them with several offers.
The police official said the four TRS MLAs -- G Balaraju, B Harshavardhan Reddy, R Kantha Rao and Rohith Reddy -- were allegedly being offered cash, posts and other incentives to switch loyalties.
"We are inquiring into details like which party the three persons belong to," Raveendra told PTI.
However, Government Whip Balka Suman alleged that it is the handiwork of the BJP which is trying to lure TRS legislators.

Several analysts also surmise the idea as an exercise to fortify his party base in the state -- where the BJP is making inroads and intensifying political activity ahead of 2023 assembly polls -- by shifting focus to national issues.
However, a big question remains whether TRS -- founded in 2001 with a single-point agenda of creating a separate Telangana state -- will manage to capture any space in national politics; whether KCR’s leadership will be accepted in other states, especially in the north.
KCR is not a politician who does things without a reason. His plan to enter national politics stems from his ambition to fill a vacuum caused by a lack of formidable opposition to the BJP-led ruling National Democratic Alliance at the centre, said a political analyst.
In addition, the 68-year-old leader of Telangana believes his party’s success in winning the support of women, farmers, and marginalised groups with several welfare schemes.
Some of the major schemes are: 'Rythu Bandhu' which takes care of the initial investment needs of every farmer; ‘Dalit Bandhu’ --under which one-time capital assistance of Rs 10 lakh is provided for every SC family to set up a suitable income-generating business; ‘KCR Kit’, a Rs 12,000 aid for pregnant women to take care of herself and the newborn child and 'Aasara' pensions to all the poor.
In renaming TRS and repositioning it as a "national" party, KCR is also eyeing a pole position in opposition politics ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
As the main opposition Congress party struggles to reverse its slide in the country’s electoral politics, major regional parties across the country are trying to forge a united front that can take on the ruling BJP. KCR, who has long championed the idea of a non-Congress, non-BJP opposition, would want to play a pivotal role in such an alliance.
However, not all share that optimism. M Kodandaram, the founder of Telangana Jana Samithi and political analyst, feels:"It is for the first time, a state-recognised party like TRS is renaming itself as BRS. It is going to be a misadventure".
He further added that Telugu Desam Party (TDP), which had a strong presence in united Andhra Pradesh, is a registered national party but has not made any headway at the national level and a similar case is with the AIMIM, which is primarily based in the city of Hyderabad. Both TDP and AIMIM did not rename their parties, he added.
"KCR has an identity as chief minister at the national level, but it is not sufficient to build a national party”, he observed.
As BJP intensifies its political activity in the state, KCR wants to divert focus on national issues, another analyst said.
It is a "gamble" that he is plunging directly into the national arena, the analyst from the well-known Kautilya Institute of Public Policy (KIPP) said on condition of anonymity.
Given that the country’s politics changed after the 1980s with the emergence of regional forces, parties like SP, BSP, RJD, JD(U), DMK and others have been playing a national role either through alliance building or by forming pressure groups.
KCR is trying to work on the sentiment that individually the small regional parties have not been able to assert themselves effectively at the national level but collectively they can and will replace the traditional Opposition to become a formidable opposition.
In the recent past, KCR has met several regional party leaders including JD(S) chief H D Deve Gowda, NCP’s Sharad Pawar, TMC’s Mamata Banerjee, AAP’s Arvind Kejriwal and others, and has been rooting for a ‘non-BJP, non-Congress’ alliance.
However, most of these parties have maintained that there cannot be any united opposition without the Congress as it may end up only helping BJP.

TRS Rajya Sabha MP from Hyderabad, Joginapally Santosh Kumar announced 2 crore rupees from his Member Parliament local area development funds (MPLAD), for the conservation of 800 years old banyan tree in Telangana’s Mahbubnagar district. TRS Rajya Sabha MP from Hyderabad, Joginapally Santosh Kumar announced 2 crore rupees from his Members of Parliament Local Area Development funds (MPLAD), for the conservation of a 800-year-old banyan tree in Telangana&rsquo;s Mahbubnagar district.
The parliamentarian, who is also a chairman of the Green India Foundation, expressed his gratitude to the district administration for saving the giant banyan tree.
It is pertinent to mention here that to resurrect this historical tree a saline drip treatment was provided as well as all the roots of the tree were treated to give it a new life
Talking to the media, Santosh Kumar said that it is the responsibility of common people to take care of the&nbsp; environment.&nbsp;

Amid the ongoing war of words between BJP and TRS over Delhi liquor scam allegations, a fresh row broke out Monday morning when TRS slammed the saffron party over a viral video which shows  Telangana BJP chief Bandi Sanjay Kumar fetching footwear of Union Home Minister Amit Shah during his visit to a temple in the state.
Taking to Twitter, TRS called Bandi Kumar's gesture 'Gulamgiri at its best'. KCR's son KTR said the people of the state are watching the slaves of Gujarat, and will reverse any attempt to denigrate Telangana's 'self- respect'
The party also shared the now viral video with a caption, "Telangana BJP state president MP Bandi Sanjay rushing to give foot-ware to his colleague MP Amit Shah!"
Union Home Minister Amit Shah is in the state ahead of the bypolls to the Munugode Assembly seat in Nalgonda district.  Shah had launched attack at the ruling state government saying they betrayed the trust of the people of the state. 
The Home Minister also accusedKCR of pursuing 'dynastic poltiics' claiming that the KCR had promised to induct a Dalit CM but didn't do so. He added that ifKCR is voted to power again, KTR will succeed his father, not Dalit

TRS leader and Telangana CM KCR's daughter K Kavitha  on Monday said she will move court seeking an injunction order against those dragging her name in the Delhi liquor scam.
The  TRS MLC will file a defamation case against Delhi BJP leaders Parvesh Varma and Manjinder Singh Sirsa who alleged that Kavitha was the  'middleman' between the liquor mafia and AAP government in the scam.
Calling the allegations baseless Kavitha said she has nothing to do with ongoing scam and claimed that the saffron party was trying to malign her family's reputation. 
She said she won't step down and will put up a fight.BJP MP Parvesh Verma had alleged that Telangana CM's family members attended meetings on the formulation of the Delhi excise policy at Oberoi Hotel. 
"KCR's family members got the same policy implemented in Punjab. They prepared a plan for Delhi, along with Manish Sisodia and Arvind Kejriwal," claimed Verma.
Verma also alleged that between the liquor mafia and the AAP government, Telangana CM KCR's daughter “K Kavitha acted as a middleman”.
The CBI's Friday raids came after Lieutenant Governor V K Saxena last month recommended a probe by the agency into the alleged violations of rules and procedural lapses in the implementation of the policy that came into effect from November 17 last year. Deputy CM Manish Sisodia and houses of excise officials were raided.

As the identity of the innovator was not immediately known, the IT and Industries Minister retweeted the video on his Twitter handle, asking T-works officials to connect with the person and help him scale up.

The invention is winning praises on the internet. In the video, he can&nbsp;be seen using his carpentry skills to make a treadmill from intricately-cut wooden components.&nbsp;He then demonstrates the working of the treadmill without the use of any power connection. Earlier, the TRS had said that the governor's address was not required, as the budget session is a continuation of the previous session, which was not discontinued. 
However, the governor’s office statement said that if the Assembly session occurs after five months, it will be considered as a new session. 
The opposition BJP and Congress in Telangana have strongly condemned the decision and alleged that the TRS government was showing a ‘disrespectful attitude’ towards the constitutional guardian of the state.
