A new survey conducted by Deloitte revealed that 46 per cent of Gen Zers and 39 per cent of millennials feel anxious and stressed out at work most of the time.&nbsp;
The survey collected insights about work and living conditions from more than 22,000 respondents &nbsp;(14,483 were Gen Zers and 8,373 were millennials) in 44 countries between November and December 2022.&nbsp;
The findings suggested that over a third of Gen Z felt exhausted or mentally distant from their job because of persistent feelings of negativity or cynicism.
The survey also concluded that millennial responses were roughly the same but the most affected were women, LGBT+, ethnic minorities and those with disabilities.

The research was done by a team at Boston College, who had been tracking more than180 organizations globally, who started working for lesser hours a week. It was a six-month pilot program and was reported by Bloomberg.
The survey also concluded that there was a drastic drop in the percentage of sleep-deprived people from 42.6% to 14.5% during the four-day work routine.&nbsp;

This data came up as a result of a survey done by the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), an industry body for HR workers and management professionals.
However, 28% of the leaders said that if organisations are using software to monitor the productivity of the employees, the culture of micromanagement can be put to rest. Employers should be clear about the HR policies and be transparent to their employees about what is being monitored and why.

Moreover, the order also says that women will be provided with free transportation, food and sufficient supervision if they are working late hours or the night shift. 
Any woman who refuses to work before 6 am and after 7 pm, cannot be terminated from employment and written consent is to be sought if she is to work night hours. 
The government has notified the exemptions across the mills and factories in UP. 
The circular places the onus of providing a secure work atmosphere on the employer to prevent incidents of sexual harassment in the workplace, while also asking for compliance with the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013.
