iPhone has several features but surviving a fall from 16,000 feet is not one of those. But, it appears that it's time to count this feature too. Recently, an incident occurred when Alaska Airlines experienced a mid-air window-shattering incident.

During this, several objects, including an iPhone fell from the plane. A man identified as Seanathan Bates, who was walking down Barnes Road, found the iPhone with its cover and screen protector and all of it in intact condition.

Bates was surprised to witness that and he shared pictures of the intact iPhone. He shared a post, in which he wrote, "Found an iPhone on the side of the road Still in aeroplane mode with half a battery and open to a baggage claim for #AlaskaAirlines ASA1282. Survived a 16,000-foot drop perfectly intact! When I called it in, Zoe at @NTSB said it was the SECOND phone to be found. No door yet."

It was also revealed that the phone was in flight mode and was activated along with the SOS mode. The link of the phone to the Alaska aeroplane was confirmed through an email on the iPhone. The subject of the mail read, 'Alaska Airlines Baggage Receipt.'

Moreover, US' National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) also confirmed the incident and said that they discovered another phone that remained in working condition after its dramatic fall.
