Pakistan: Rs 300 million deposited by 'unknown' sources in 4 police officers' bank accounts

It is raining money in Pakistan as police officers in multiple cities of Pakistan received crores of rupees in their bank accounts. The huge sums of money apparently came from unknown sources.

An investigating officer in Karachi’s Bahadurabad police station received Rs 10 crore in his bank account. He reportedly said that he was shocked when the bank informed him, as he never has more than a few thousand rupees in his account.

The policeman's bank account is now frozen and ATM card blocked till the bank completes its investigations.

Similar incidents were reported from Larkana and Sukkur cities. In Larkana, three police officers found out each of them had got 5 crore rupees in their accounts while in Sukkur a police officer had the same amount in his account.

Larkana police spokespersons said that the cops had no idea how the huge sums of money ended up in their accounts.
