Ukrainian woman behaves like dog, claims to be raised by them

A Ukrainian woman named Oxana Malaya has claimed to have spent her childhood with dogs and therefore, she behaves like one. A report by 60 Minutes Australia said that her life changed completely when one night her alcoholic parents left her out in the cold when she was merely 3-years-old. In the dire need of warmth, she followed her pet dog into a kennel and spend the next five years with dogs without any human interaction.

In the duration from age 3 to 6, she adopted almost all the characteristics of a dog such as barking, growling, and walking on all fours.

Talking to 60 Minutes Australia, Malaya said, "Mom had too many kids...we didn't have enough beds. So I crawled to the dog and started living with her".

"I would talk to them, they would bark and I would repeat it. That was our way of communication," she added.

Malaya was rescued at the age of 9 when Ukrainian authorities were informed about her condition. However, despite being taken out of the kennel and medical treatment, she still retained some of the traits.

After analysing her condition, child psychologist Lyn Fry said, "I don't think she's ever going to be able to read or do anything else that is going to be useful."
