Alia Bhatt's upcoming venture into the YRF Spy Universe has been generating excitement among fans. It's been disclosed that filming for the project is slated to commence in July, with Alia undergoing rigorous training sessions at YRF's Andheri studios in Mumbai to prepare for her action-packed sequences. Security measures are being planned to prevent any leaks of photos or videos from the sets. Sharvari Wagh will join Alia during this leg of shooting, marking their first collaboration.

Insiders reveal that director Shiv Rawail has planned several intense fight sequences for the initial shooting. Following her introduction scene, Alia will engage in an action piece alongwith Sharvari. Follwing strict protocols, the Mumbai shoot will be conducted with limited crew and tight security.

After wrapping up the Mumbai schedule, Alia and Sharvari will head to the UK for further filming, where they will be joined by Anil Kapoor.

Earlier this year, YRF's CEO Akshaye Widhani confirmed Alia's project with Spy Universe, hinting at more films to come under the franchise. ‘As one of the most prized IPs, we take a lot of pride in it. So there’s a lot of stuff that’s going to come in the spy universe. We’re going to see more and more films getting made under it. But, of course, not going to share everything here. We will talk about it at a more opportune time. For now, I can say that Alia Bhatt is headlining a spy universe film,' Widhani said.

This is going to be the actor's debut action film in Bollywood.

Reportedly, she is training at the Andheri studio under the guidance of renowned action choreographers Craig Macrae and Se-yeong Oh.

      Combat training

As per reports, Craig and Se- young, two of the 7 stunt directors have come down from London and Seoul, respectively, to train the actor. In the first scene, Alia will battle off a few villains. She is practicing hand-to-hand combat training with 40 others to master the skills.

Bobby Deol has also started his training for the film here he will be seen playing that role of the main antagonist
