The Advait Chandan directorial released in theatres on August 11 and opened to mixed reviews. The film has managed to gross a little over ₹46 crore at the box office. Now, Ekta Kapoor has come out in support of Aamir's film. Reacting to the boycott trend, the producer in an interview with Navbharat Times, expressed her disappointment and said that people are boycotting those who have given the best of business in the industry.

She further stated that all the Khans in the industry are legends, especially Aamir Khan and that we cannot boycott them.

'It is so strange we are boycotting the very people who have given the best of business in the industry.
