Ranveer Singh responds to trolls in new TVC, says 'kuch logo ko mujhse problem hai'

Actor Ranveer Singh recently appeared in a popular soft drink ad in which he seemingly hit back at those who criticised him for his choices. Dressed in an animal print blue tracksuit, he hears a lot of negative comments about himself and then responds to those toward the end.

The TVC opens with Ranveer saying, ‘Kuch logo ko na mujhse badi problem hai (some people have a problem with me).’ Soon he gets to hear comments like ‘ye dekho ekdum jokar lagta hai (he looks like a joker)’, ‘khud ke paero pe thode hi na khada hua hai (he did not stand on his own feet)’ and ‘aaj kal ke bachche attention ke liye faltu ka natak karte hain (today's generation do stupid things to catch attention.’ A father tells his son ‘entertainment koi real job thode hi hai, iske jaise mat ban (entertainment is not a real job, don't be like him).’

The actor then stops a young boy and says, ‘Sabka sunne ka, khud ka karne ka, tu tera kar (listen to all, do what you feel like).’ He went on to say, ‘The society will pull you down, but you got to rise, baby.’

Ranveer also performed on ‘Jo Jeeta Woh Sikander’s song ‘Yahan Ke Hum Sikandar’ in the ad.

He shared the TVC on social media and wrote, ‘Duniya kheechengi neeche (the world will pull you down), but you gotta rise up, baby!’ Several fans came out in support of him and praised the actor for the wonderful ad.

On the work front, Ranveer Singh will now be seen in Karan Johar's ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’. He was last seen in Rohit Shetty’s Cirkus’ that performed poorly at the box office.
