South Korean actor Lee Jong Suk is all set to make a comeback on OTT. The ‘Romance is a Bonus Book’ is reportedly in talks for a new webtoon based K-drama. If all goes well, the actor will be seen as a lead in the supernatural drama ‘1 second’.

Lee Jong Suk to star in a new K-drama: Report

According to a Korean media outlet, Jong Suk is currently discussing the project and the negotiations are progressing well. If his role is confirmed, the actor will mark his first collaboration with global OTT platform Disney+ as the reports suggest that the show is likely to premiere as a Disney +original series.

Lee Jong Suk will play the role of a firefighter in the K-drama based on the popular webtoon series by Sini and Kwang Woon. ‘1 Second’ follows the story of firemen fighting to save lives. The first season of the immensely popular webtoon ended in 2022.

Jong Suk is likely to play Ho-ga, an extraordinary firefighter who possess the ability to see the future and uses his special ability to prevent the fire and rescue people. If Jong Suk does sign up for the show, it will mark his return after two years. The actor was last seen in ‘Big Mouth’ and ‘Decibel’ in 2022.
