      The National Investigation Agency, with the assistance of other agencies and state police departments, has resumed the crackdown on the Popular Front of India.

      Raids were carried at places related to PFI leaders in different parts of Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, Assam, Delhi, Maharashtra, Telangana and Uttar Pradesh.

      PTI reported that more than 30 people have been detained from different parts of Delhi.

      Twenty-five Popular Front of India (PFI) activists were arrested from different districts of Assam in a fresh crackdown against the outfit on Tuesday.

      Police have detained several PFI leaders in urban and rural areas of Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts early on Tuesday.

      PFI leaders were taken into custody from Mangaluru, Ullal, Talapady and other areas in DK district.

      ANI reported that in a joint operation, UP ATS and UP STF took more than a dozen PFI leaders into custody in raids across Uttar Pradesh.
