Our health can deteriorate quickly during the summer season due to certain unhealthy habits. During the summer months, prioritizing health care becomes paramount to combat the challenges posed by the hot weather. Staying hydrated is crucial, so drinking plenty of water and consuming hydrating foods like fruits and vegetables is essential.

In this hot season, it's advisable to reduce caffeine intake and avoid carbonated drinks, as they can lead to dehydration. Moreover, try to refrain from consuming spicy foods and limit alcohol intake, as these can exacerbate health issues. Also, avoid excessive exercise during hot weather to prevent strain on the body.

Tips to follow in the summer season

      • Stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water throughout the day.
      • Protect your skin from the sun by wearing sunscreen, hats, and sunglasses when outdoors.
      • Dress in lightweight, loose-fitting clothing to stay cool and comfortable.
      • Seek shade during the hottest parts of the day, typically between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.
      • Avoid strenuous outdoor activities during peak heat hours, and exercise in the early morning or evening instead.
      • Eat light, refreshing meals rich in fruits, vegetables, and hydrating foods like cucumbers and watermelon.
      • Keep your home cool by closing blinds or curtains during the day and using fans or air conditioning as needed.
