Former Manchester United midfielder Jesse Lingard has embarked on an exciting new chapter in his career by signing with FC Seoul, a prominent club in South Korea's K-League. After leaving Nottingham Forest following the expiry of his contract at the conclusion of the previous season, Lingard was in search of a new club and has found his next football home in South Korea.

At 31 years old, Lingard has agreed to a two-year contract with FC Seoul, with an option to extend for an additional year, signaling his commitment to making an impact in the K-League. This move represents a significant transition for Lingard, who expressed his desire for a fresh challenge in his football career. "I had received many offers but decided I wanted a new football experience in South Korea," Lingard shared, highlighting his eagerness to embrace a different football culture and environment.

Lingard's football journey is notable, beginning with his development in Manchester United's esteemed youth academy. He made his senior debut for the club under manager Louis van Gaal in August 2014, marking the start of what would be a productive stint with the Red Devils. During his time at Manchester United, Lingard made 232 appearances and found the back of the net 35 times. His contributions were pivotal in United's successes, including triumphs in the FA Cup, League Cup, and Europa League, showcasing his ability to perform on the big stage.

After his tenure with Manchester United came to an end, Lingard continued his professional journey at Nottingham Forest with a one-year contract before ultimately making the move to South Korea.
