With Durga Puja wishes, PM Narendra Modi on Thursday addressed people of West Bengal on the biggest festival in the state. PM Modi inaugurated the puja pandals and joined the festivities online. Getting into the poll mode ahead of Bengal assembly election next year, the PM paid tribute to eminent personalities of Bengal, who he said have guided the nation. He also announced approval of Rs 8,500 crore for Kolkata’s East West Metro and laid out the objective of ‘Sonar Bangla’ through Atmanirbhar Bharat.
