    Bhartiya Kisan Union (BKU) leader Rakesh Tikait on Sunday reacted to Haryana Police's crackdown upon protesting farmers in Karnal, saying the country has been taken over by 'Sarkari Taliban' who are giving orders to "break the head" of farmers.

    Tikait while referring to a controversial video slammed sub-divisional magistrate Ayush Sinha who ordered the police to ‘break the heads of protesters’.

    In a tweet, Rakesh Tikait also likened the behaviour of Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar to British General Dyer, who ordered the killing of people in Jallianwala Bagh incident.

    Further, the BKU leader mentioned how the BJP flag was put above the national flag over late Kalyan Singh’s body, claiming that the party does not show respect for the tricolor.
