The research presented recently at EuroHeartCare 2019, a scientific congress of the European Society of Cardiology (ESC), says that the risk of high blood pressure is higher with longer duration of passive smoking - but even the lowest amounts are dangerous. The authors of the study suggest that you must avoid exposure to second-hand smoke and smoky environments to protect your heart.
