Watch: Just retired ex-Bihar DGP's 'Robinhood Pandey' avatar

Minutes after announcing that he taking voluntary retirement from police service, now former Bihar DGP Gupteshwar Pandey released a music video starring, well, himself!

Social media, which was already abuzz with speculations about him quitting in order to contest the Bihar elections, is not sure what to make of this self-promoting music video that could easily be mistaken for a trailer of a Bollywood cop movie.

The song has been sung and written by Gangs of Wasseypur singer and Big Boss contestant Deepak Thakur and is titled 'Robinhood Bihar Ke'.

Looks like the real Pandey ji is much inspired by the reel Pandey ji, aka Chulbul Pandey aka Robhin Hood Pandey.

The video may not have had the effect the former police officer may have wanted, with several people pointing out that it wasn't proper and becoming of a DGP to have shot such a video in his service uniform.
