About 42 students from UK's Barr Beacon School who were on a ski trip to New Hampshire had two stays for four more days in America after their passports were allegedly discarded by the hotel management

      A group of UK students got stuck in the US after their passports were mistakenly shredded by their hotel, the BBC reported.

      About 42 students from UK's Barr Beacon School, who was on a ski trip to New Hampshire, had to stay for four more days in America after their passports were reportedly discarded by the hotel management.

      The BBC report said the students were scheduled to fly back home on February 25 but had to stay extra to get their emergency documents after their passports were destroyed.

      The British Embassy confirmed that the documentation process is complete and the students will return home on March 1.
