Actors Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal are set to tie the knot on June 23. The pre-wedding festivities seem to have started, as Sonakshi shared several pictures on Instagram from what seems like a bachelorette party. She posed with her girl gang, including her bestie Huma Qureshi and Zaheer’s sister Sanam.

As per a report in Hindustan Times, Sonakshi and Zaheer's Haldi ceremony is scheduled for June 20. The event will be held at Sonakshi’s new home in Bandra and will be attended by close friends and family, totalling less than 50 people.

‘The haldi function will happen at Sonakshi’s new home in Bandra that she bought recently after leaving her parents’ house. It will be a tight setting with only close friends and family, and less than 50 people have been invited for the function, and that’s why they opted for Sona’s house as the venue,’ a source shared with the news portal.

‘Since the day they started planning their wedding, they were sure about having their close-knit circle around for their festivities, and end the celebrations with a huge party. Of course they want to celebrate their happiness with their industry friends, so the reception will be big,’ the source added.

Both Sonakshi and Zaheer are keen on having intimate wedding functions. They intend to conclude the celebrations with a grand reception for their industry friends. Sonakshi has chosen a minimalist theme for her haldi ceremony, steering away from the traditional yellow and pink decor.

Their wedding invitation resembles the cover of a magazine, featuring an adorable photo of them from one of their vacations. The wedding festivities will be held at Bastian, Mumbai, at 8 pm on June 23. The dress code for the evening is formals, and the couple has requested guests not to wear red.
