It is double celebration for BTS and its fans as 'For You' surpassed 100 million views and Jungkook's SEVEN surpassed 1.7 billion streams on Spotify. BTS' Japanese YouTube handle has released an unseen video footage from the making of 'For You'.

      BTS celebrated a big milestone as their Japanese single ‘For You’ hit 100 million views on YouTube days after the song completed its 9 years. Another proud moment came for the boyband and fans as BTS singer Jungkook’s solo debut single ‘SEVEN’ surpassed 1.7 billion streams on spotify. The youngest bandmate became the fastest Asian soloist to achieve this feat. Here’s all the BTS updates that you need to know.

      Unseen behind-the-scenes of ‘For You’

      On June 29, 2024, BTS’ Japanese single ‘For You’ surpassed 100 million views on YouTube. The song also completed 9 years on June 4, 2015. BTS’ Japanese YouTube Channel shared unseen behind-the-scenes video clips of making of the hit song. It gives a glimpse into the time when the group was in their rookie years and worked hard for the MV. The behind-the-scenes video begins with the group members huddling and filming the dance break of the ‘For You’ music video. It also gives a glimpse into V, J-Hope and other members having fun time.

      Meanwhile, another proud moment came for the boyband and fans as BTS singer Jungkook’s solo debut single ‘SEVEN’ surpassed 1.7 billion streams on spotify. The youngest band member scripted history and became the fastest Asian soloist to achieve this feat. The super hit track also became the third quickest song to reach this feat.

      BTS current activities

      While Jin has recently completed his mandatory military service, the six other members are currently serving in the military. The group is likely to reconvene their activities by 2025.

      BTS leader RM recently released his second album ‘Right Place Wrong Person’ which has been ruling the music charts. Jimin has also announced his second solo album ‘Muse’.
