When asked what he ate and what he had to sacrifice for Chandu Champion, Kartik said, “Wheat, rice, sweets, chocolates, ice cream, burgers, pizza, etc. I had to stop eating a lot of things for the role. The food that I was eating was in small quantities that I didn’t even consider an appetizer. I used to have soup and little fruits, I used to have cauliflower rice, beans, salads, and tofu and I used to eat these for 1-1.5 years. Yes, there were no cheat meals, no Sundays for me, every day was working for me in terms of diet, working out."
