India's coronavirus case tally on Friday crossed the 52-lakh mark with a spike of over 96,000 new infections. According to the health ministry data on Friday morning, 96,424 new cases & 1,174 deaths were recorded in the last 24 hours. The total number of fatalities due to the virus has now crossed 84,000. India has seen a sharp spike of over 90,000 daily cases on 11 out of last 12 days. The total number of active cases in the country stands at over 10 lakh, while over 41 lakh have recovered from the contagion so far.
