JNU VC: online learning is a 'game changer'

JNU Vice-Chancellor Jagadesh Kumar on Tuesday said that online education will be a game changer for India. In an interview to IANS, he said "In India, we have more than 500 million smartphone users, in Indian higher educational institutes, we have 34 million students. Therefore, it is safe to assume that every student in our universities and colleges owns a smartphone or has access to a smartphone" The JNU VC's comments come on the same day that hundreds of Delhi University students have been struggling with filling of the online exam form.
