Google has opened up access to its Bard chatbot to more than 180 countries including India, while also removing a waitlist that was required for access.

The company has also added a number of new features to Bard in a bid to take control of the AI chatbot landscape, currently dominated by OpenAI's ChatGPT.

Google also said that it is working to make Bard available in more languages. The company currently plans to add support for 40 more languages in the near future.

Bard is still in beta and, like other generative AI-based chatbots, is prone to making mistakes and 'hallucinating'. However, Google is confident that Bard has the potential to be a powerful tool for users around the world.

The company said that it is committed to making Bard a safe and reliable tool for users. Google said that it has a team of engineers and researchers who are working to ensure that Bard is used responsibly.
