Mahesh Babu and ace filmmaker SS Rajamouli are teaming up for ‘SSMB 29’, but the film's title and plot remain undisclosed. While Mahesh Babu typically commands a fee ranging from Rs 60 to Rs 80 crore per film, for ‘SSMB 29’, he is reportedly opting for a profit-sharing arrangement, as per a source.

According to Hindustan Times and various sources, reports suggest that Mahesh Babu has not received any payment for the movie. Instead, both he and Rajamouli might have a profit-sharing arrangement, which could prove to be more financially rewarding. As of now, neither Babu nor Rajamouli have responded to these reports.

About ‘SSMB 29’

‘SSMB 29’ has already created significant excitement, with reports indicating that it could be India's answer to ‘Indiana Jones’. According to sources, Mahesh Babu's character in SS Rajamouli's upcoming film draws inspiration from Lord Hanuman. Writer Vijayendra Prasad, who crafted the story, mentioned in a recent interview that the movie will feature Hollywood actors in an action-adventure set in Africa.

Although the story unfolds in an African jungle adventure, Mahesh Babu's character is expected to embody qualities reminiscent of Lord Hanuman, known for his valor and resilience in facing jungle challenges. The character's journey is anticipated to reflect elements of the Ramayana, infused with Rajamouli's distinct creative touch.

While the official cast and crew have yet to be confirmed, there are reports suggesting that Deepika Padukone is being considered for the lead female role. With such prestigious talents and the promise of a grand-scale production, SSMB 29 is shaping up to be a highly anticipated cinematic spectacle.

Mahesh Babu’s forthcoming project

Mahesh Babu will soon be seen in ‘Guntur Kaaram’, written and directed by Trivikram Srinivas. The movie also stars Mahesh Babu, Sreeleela, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Ramya Krishna, Jayaram, Prakash Raj and Jagapathi Babu.
