While Boris Johnson visited Akshardham temple in PM Modi's home state Gujarat, Jugnauth visited Kashi Vishwanath in Modi's Lok Sabha constituency Varanasi.

      India is currently hosting two foreign heads of state, and both visited Hindu temples on April 21.

      United Kingdom Prime Minister Boris Johnson visited the Akshardham temple in Gujarat's Gandhinagar. He was seen touring the premises and talking to the priests. At one point, Johnson held the hands of the priest on his left as they walked and posed for the cameras.

      Johnson is on a two-day trip to India, and also visited spots of historical significance like MK Gandhi's Sabarmati Ashram.

      Meanwhile, Mauritius Prime Minister Pravind Jugnauth was seen offering prayers at the Kashi Vishwanath temple. Jugnauth is on a marathon 8-day visit to India.

      He visited the Kashi Vishwanath temple in Uttar Pradesh's Varanasi on Day 4 of his trip. The Mauritian PM kickstarted his trip from Gujarat, where he held a roadshow with Prime Minister Modi on April 19.

      Interestingly, both the foreign leaders visited spots linked to Prime Minister Modi. While Johnson visited Akshardham temple which is in PM Modi's home state Gujarat, Jugnauth visited a historic temple in PM Modi's Lok Sabha constituency Varanasi.
