Billionaire Elon Musk has been sued by his former employees whom he allegedly fired in June this year.

At least eight former SpaceX employees have approached the National Labor Relations Board in US over their firing alleging that the move was illegal.

The employees have levelled unfair labour practice charge against Musk saying he is opposed to criticism, as per a report by The Guardian.

Employees were fired after they reportedly drafted a letter criticising their boss for his 'harmful Twitter behaviour'and sexual harassment allegations.

The 'open letter' which was shared internally within SpaceX leadership was largely condemning the poor work culture at the organisation.

The letter stated that Musk's online behaviour was an embarrasment and "a frequent source of distraction."

One of the female employees in the letter also specified how SpaceX did not take any action over her sexual harassment complaint.

Musk was accused of making inappropriate gestures and offering the woman "a horse in exchange for sex"

Though the allegations were refuted by Musk who outrightly said that "the incident never happened."
