#20years of K3G: Reasons why we still love 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham'

Kabhie Khushi Kabhie Gham is still P.H.A.T - Pretty Hot and Tempting!

#20years of K3G: Reasons why we still love 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham'

Karan Johar fan or not, ever movie buff has watched and fallen in love with Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham. From Poo's swag, to Kajol's loud enthusiasm, we all felt part of the time and tides of the Raichand family. The characters have become iconic, with dubsmashes and viral videos and hilarious memes, even after 20 years of the film's release, paying homage to this Karan Johar blockbuster that literally broke the box-office and the Internet.

Even with its unrealistic plot points, we love K3G and here are the reasons why!

1. Kareena Kapoor Khan aka Poo
You're not a K3G fan if you don't love Poo. Bollywood's original Blair Waldorf, Kareena Kapoor as Pooja, Kajol's flamboyant younger sister, is something we all wanted to grow up to be. The swag, the outfits and those moves... How many times have you said, "I am so P.H.A.T - Pretty Hot and Tempting!"

2. Shah Rukh-Kajol jodi
It's the oldest cliche in Bollywood, but we are suckers for a good Shah Rukh-Kajol romance. There is no topping this iconic couple.

3. Maa ka pyaar
Jaya Bachchan as the all encompassing mother in this film took it to a whole different level. Seeing her run to the door and knowing just that right moment when her son Rahul is back home, still makes us teary-eyed, after all these years.

4. DJ aka Daijaan played by Farida Jalal
We also wanted to have a Daijaan in our lives who would feed us laddoos sneakily and never let us learn how to tie our shoelaces.

5. The power of family
The film's tagline literally says, it's all about loving your parents. We would all be lying if this movie didn't make us send 'I miss you' texts to the folks who brought us into the world.
